  unless it‘s been updated in the last 10 years or so the CIWS can’t tell an incoming missile from a diving sea bird. and the IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) works…sometimes. more often than not it doesn’t work at all. so make sure the whole thing is OFF before you try to land on the back of that FFG, ok?

  I’m not going to comment on the two pilots. But… and I do mean but!
  When I saw it was a 60 min special. I stopped.
  This is the same lame news service who pulled the same stunt on the F-16 years ago after two crashes, claiming it had electrical problems. They offered no proof, just hear-say.
  After the show you heard about it for a few weeks, then it all went away.

  Typical MSN just making news, instead of reporting it.
