  • Maybe Eric Holder’s DOJ will charge the clerk with a hate crime on that basis. lol :-D

  • If the store clerk was (east) Indian, he is actually much more likely to be Hindu than Muslim. BTW, Hindus, or all of them I’ve ever met, HATE Muslims. Muslims ruled the Hindus in India for over 3 centuries.

  • You’re probably right.

  • I’m thinking your teacher is risking his career. Seriously. Of course, it depends on where he is, but at some schools I know of, he’d get dirty stares from other teachers at a minimum. Most conservative teachers I know just adopt a total silence approach to dealing with politics. They know they’re surroounded by leftwing boobs … stump stupid minorities who think that ALL conservatives are racists, “homophobes,” bigots, narrow-minded idiots, etc, etc. I knew a white man with an MBA from UVA, and he couldn’t find a job teaching business at a public high school in this county.

  • In 2008, I parked my car at a high school with a McCain sticker on the bumper. The first day the McCain sticker was gone.

  • Irrelevant. Or it should be. Believe me, there’s just as many white leftwing teachers as there is black. Probably more.

  • Not necessarily. A lot of the administrators in NC are still white, and a lot are still fairly conservative. I also doubt that the majority of them are all that ignorant about the laws, etc. I think they suspended the teacher with pay because they wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, at least initially. I‘m sure they’ll take a second look at this, and I won’t be surprised if they fire this teacher. Admistrators and Superintendants are cautious in these matters, as well they should be.

  • I stepped back from this a bit and tried to focus on the subtext. The way this discussion started is when the teacher asked the student if he knew that when some people insulted President Bush they were arrested. She should have known that was not true, but I‘m thinking that maybe she really did believe that because of all the Obama propaganda that’s been spread all over the media in recent years. It would not surprise me to learn that this teacher didn’t know this was not true. Maybe some people got detained by the secret service or questioned when they made really over the top remarks of a menacing nature. That might have happened, but I don’t recall any such incident. In any case, the SS detains people all the time for questioning, but all that is based on laws, rules, regulations, etc. so that it would be virtually impossible for federal law enforcement to arrest someone just for “insulting” the president or just expressing disagreement with him, even if that persson did so using vile or abusive language. Anyway, the kid didn’t insult him. He asked a question. There‘s no way on God’s green earth the SS would arrest him or anyone else on that basis. And that’s what the teacher should have known, and in fact probably DID know, and is why in trying to silence that kid, she made a huge mistake. There’s no way those kids at that school will ever respect that teacher again. At least, not the white kids. I hate to put it that way, but it’s true.

  • No actually that was the FBI that got the goods on MLK Jr. They did stuff like that even while they were fighting the KKK in MS. Hoover, for all his faults, always saw threats on the rigiht and left, and he had his special ways of eliminating them. Thank God.

  • What most people on the so-called right believe is that Stanley Dunham was his father, NOT his grandfather. We think that Dunham fathered a child out of wed-lock with an unknown black woman. We’ve always said that Barack Junior was born in Honolulu, but the birth certificate IS a fraud. Stanley Dunham covered this up by payin BHO Senior to claim Barack Jr was his son, and Stanley paid him to claim that he married Ann Dunham. There is to this day no evidence whatsoever that BHO Sr and Ann Dunham were ever married. She filed for a divorce in 1964, but there’s no proof of marriage anywhere, ever.
