  Actually the Bible was clear that no one would know the day of Jesus’ return but Jesus gave the generation it would take place in and that was the 1st century AD generation. So then the event is now past and Christ did come in judgment against Jerusalem. It has been a settled and completed event for nearly 2000 years now. I went to the Harold Camping website and looked into ordering some reading material. The material would take two weeks to arrive. Hmmmm

  Goodbye, Glenn Beck – the trouble with your view concerning the future is that you have misapplied the Bible to fit our day and age concerning the Last Days. Let me tell you something, Mr. Beck – All things have been fulfilled even right down to the second coming of Christ. How do I know this? Because Jesus and His inspired NT writers have said so.
  So take it easy folks and just do what is right and lean on what the Apostle Paul said to his generation – “1 Thessalonians 4:11
  that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,”

  The fear Mr. Beck is spreading is the fear that you may lose material possessions. The Hope in Christ is that He will never leave you or foresake you.

  You have to remember that Beck needs to sell gold as a priority. You know when you buy high you need it to go high to sell high. Its about that wealth he hates to love.

  The Full-Preterism view that all prophecies including the resurrection of the dead (Israel only) and the second coming of Christ have a similar view as this one of Rob Bell. Hell is actually Hades and Hades was the place for all the dead whether good or bad (Faithful or not faithful). Death and Hades have been cast into the Lake of Fire.
