  This is not a violation of the 1st amendment while it does establish a religion namely Christianity.the 1st Amendment specifically states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion” congress cant but a Local town Government can.

  I think the whole thing is a show by the state. they have no intention of putting him away for murder but they have to do something to put this issue to rest. They will put him on trial the prosecutor will purposely do a half baked attempt to convince the jury of the murder, the jury will acquit and end of story
