  How do you know the child is too old to be breast feed? Are you a doctor? Have you spent years researching that? Or do you just think that what the majority does is normal? You should be careful because if you use the majority as your guide the world won’t be a pretty place.

  You people that keep saying this is child abuse are big government people – its hilarious that you don’t know it. Is it abuse if you bring your kids to McDonalds two times a week? Is is abuse if you have fat children? Is it abuse if you don’t believe in every vaccine? Is it abuse if you spank your kids? Is it abuse if you don’t do exactly what the gov and the majority tell you to do?

  You people need to get consistent with your views – only then will freedom and the republic be saved. Though it might be too late – that is why true conservatives have gone Galt already.

  It is amazing and most people posting call themselves members of the gop – they are so progressive they don’t even know it. I am not saying people should breast feed their kids until 4 or whatever but parents should choose not the gov.

  These same people would ALL be outraged if the gov forced parents to give their girls a new vaccine that prevented aids or something. They would all be saying its the parents right to choose (and I would 100% agree with that).

  The problem with the comments and the current gop is they are not consistent in their beliefs and that is why we have two progressive political parties and that is further why the Republic is in serious trouble.

  I think TIME is a leftist rag and would never read it, however I support its right to sell magazines and write stories on any topic.

  I disagree with the parenting style outline but again that is my opinion. Many people posting make it seem like they want the government to tell them how to parent!!!! That doesn’t make sense to me. You have to be consistent – that is why Romney is going to lose – RON PAUL 2012.

  I think the comments on this article are a perfect example of what is wrong with the current GOP – since most Blaze readers associate more with the GOP than the Left – myself included. It shows the Ron Paul side of the GOP (true liberty minded individuals) with the Progressive side – most of the guys and girls in office with R next to their names.

  The comments on here by so called conervatives are hilarious. I would say 80% are judging this woman, calling her a child pornographer or saying she is abusing the child. Many of you show little ability to read because you keep misquoting the child’s age – he is 3 not 6 or 10. You should look closely at yourselves and your beliefs because you are RINOs. You think this parent doesn’t know what is best for her son and YOU do. You think because this is not in the majority in the USA that it is somehow immoral or wrong. And many of you are morons and think this is child porn – which is truly a moronic view. You are progressive RINOs – you are part of the problem just like the left.

  Now I personally would not raise my son like this and I think breast feeding to 7 months or so is fine – but that is MY OPINION. I see no reason to force it onto other people. This isn’t harming the child, it is natural, if there were no formula people would breast feed longer and we should all question where our formula is made (many in China).

  To say this is part of the new world order is silly, if anything those against this are part of the NWO

  I used to watch Glenn Beck every night on Fox, well I dvr’d the show. I couldn’t wait to watch it. Then at the end I realized he didn‘t support Ron Paul and I thought to myself that doesn’t make any sense. Now I read on this site all the time the Ron Paul haters. Again that doesn’t make sense. Then I see Beck supports a guy like Santorum – Rick Santorum voted for the patriot act and supports ndaa.

  Do you people on this site understand that? He won’t do anything to stop stuff like this, in fact he will likey speed it up. Now Romney, Newt or Obama won’t do anything either. Neither will most of congress. Essentially a handfull of people had spoken out against this and one of them is Ron Paul and most of you people out and out hate him like he were to the left of Obama. This truly confuses me. He is the only one for real freedom and you treat him like Obama – this is why the Republic is gone even if a mainstream GOP candidate wins. Nothing will chane – I hope Santorum or Romney wins so when nothing changes you all will look inward.

  People like me have already withdrawn we have gone Galt. I am not saying that is right or wrong, heck the true American patriots didn‘t go Galt or they didn’t stop flying. They did something else – think about that. Everytime we say don‘t fly think about if the American Patriots said don’t trade anymore or don’t have an economy….

  That is a critical point, Rand isn’t saying to keep going through the x-ray scanners, he is talking about the regular METAL detectors. I have had the metal detector randomly go off and have been told it was for a random bomb dusting test, so they just rubbed the cloth on my hands and put it in the machine. I think they were very upfront that it was random.

  Rand is 100% right about all this.
