  The poll seems about right from what I see from the different members in my ward. It seems my church pulls as much controversy as its opposite Islam. Is that a false assumption? Makes me treat Islam with more respect since it tears me up seeing people blast something personal to me that they don’t understand. The Book of Mormon is another testament that Christ is our Savior, that is what it is here on this Earth for. The Lamanites had brown skin so that it was easier to distinguish them from the Nephites who were white because they were Jewish. It isn‘t racist it was a practical solution to the problem since the Lamanites and Nephites have the same ancestor so they couldn’t tell which party a man belonged to by particular features. Don’t you want your child to not marry someone who wants to wipe your entire family from the face of the earth? Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints worship only one God who is the Father of Jesus Christ and our spirits.
  If you think this is weird and maybe false, remember the Bible is only a CANNON of true stories about God‘s love for his children and His children’s mishaps. A collection always is missing something so what other truths are out there we don’t know?

  For a Christian subject this is attracting very un-Christlike comments. Please refrain from defiling a story about my Savior and dear Brother with your profanity and hate. I know its hard to do so especially in this spiteful world that aims its guns at religions, morals, and rightful living behaviors, but please show some respect for the world’s one and only perfect mortal who stepped foot on this scarred Earth. He is a loved one to my God, my country (at least I hope so), my church, my friends, my family, and me.

  I am so glad my Father and Mother chose to home school my siblings and I. I am grateful for my church which teaches us girls to become women like Esther and Ruth and to be proud of our sex. What has happened to our country that my generation doesn’t respect the cops, gangs up on anyone different in anyway, hates their elders, and doesn’t respect their own gender? Boys please be men. Girls please be women. No, I don’t think that men like Mao, gays, and Obama are real men and don’t deserve to be called a man. No, I don’t think that women like feminists, lesbians, and Lady Gaga are real women and don’t deserve to be called women.

  The government is supposed to protect the people so that the people can have the opportunity to heal themselves. The government isn’t supposed to be our doctor. They can only give children mediocre education through the public school system! Imagine what they’d do to our health if we had it over on a paper platter! What do they know about healthcare besides being a patient? Healthcare is a privilege the individual can get if they work for it.

  Why do we have to share our awesome alpha military tech with other countries? That doesn‘t look safe or smart at all to my little minor civilian brain because George Washington said that we shouldn’t go beyond trading with other countries. I don’t believe he meant giving away military tech. What happened to the days when our tech was safely locked up in a vault until a decade later?

  I heard once that God ‘handicaps’ his most valiant and precious children so to protect them. Haven‘t you noticed that children who are ’handicapped’ are usually more sensitive to things we are desensitized to?
  This ‘handicap’ does protect them! God bless and forgive this nation for delaying His dear children from coming down here just because we don‘t want to deal with the ’handicap’.
