  Ron Paul 66.51% the next closest to him was newt at 10.05% the people have spoken now listen. If they disagreed so much, why did he win by such a huge margin? Just because the talking heads on FauxNews trumpet something doesn’t make it so. there are a lot more people that come to this site than the hand full of people commenting on a regular basis.

  Really?! He is pulling the race card? That is the same thing that BO does. you can’t impersonate him without being racist? I can’t figure out why the tea party is backing this guy. maybe some weird white guilt “See we’re not racist msm we LOVE Cain and West”. I love that Cain is for the fair tax but can’t get behind him because of his history with the Fed and his support for TARP. If he is such a constitutional conservative, great businessman and expert on the economy why would he support keynesian economics and the Federal Reserve?

  Nothing against the tea party but you guys need to look at his stances on issues a little closer and not get tricked the way the moderate left did by BO. there is tea and there is decaf tea. looks smells and tastes the same but it’s not. this guy is definitely decaf. Stick with the original!

  I believe in the right to protest and if that means burning a book of flag so be it. that is insane to me to outlaw something (or wanting to) that isn’t hurting anyone. But the real question is should he have done it? No. but he should have the right to do it and to make the right choice.
  The koran is not the word of God. just listen to the description of the angel that came to muhammad it was clearly satan. Look at their reaction to this obscure pastor’s actions. Murder! Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. & 7:20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
  My God is stronger than some fool with a lighter. If someone wants to burn the bible they will answer for it when they stand before Him.

  unrelated topic but a friend of mine made this comparison and I thought it was worth bringing up. If you destroy an eagle egg it holds a sentence of one year and $250,000. but it is legal and often encouraged for woman to kill their unborn babies.

  That is what it is all about and what made our nation great. The ability to have civil debate and an honest exchange of ideas. I do align more with libertarians (than republicans), which I do consider conservative because of fiscal issues and being advocates for smaller govt. And I agree all is not lost there is still time to restore our Republic. God willing.

  I understand your point in comparison to nazi germany as I said “we are becoming more of a police state everyday” do I think we are comparable to nazi germany? Not yet. but the potential is there and the threat is growing. Honestly I had no idea the extent until I started researching the presidential orders (Very scary stuff if you would like I can post some). My defense of SSD came because of the “litmus test” you gave. We can debate all day about what a conservative is or isn’t. But the fact is we are much more of a police state now than ten years ago and a huge reason for that was someone who called himself a conservative (BTW I know you didn’t bring up Bush but I thought it was a similar insulting accusation). It is my opinion the Founders would be appalled at the extent of intrusion and interference into our lives. I am a strict constitutionalist and I feel that the threat from terrorism is no excuse to strip us of our rights. It is also my opinion that it has been because of our deviation from the constitution that has brought much of our problems on us. “Free Trade With All, Entangling Alliances With None”.
  I can‘t really make a determination on the police in the video because it doesn’t show enough. It looks as though it may have been excessive because he was pretty well controlled, but as I said you don’t see the beginning of the altercation.

  so you are okay with the TSA doing what they do and rolling out their programs into the street right? because they are. you are okay with cameras on every corner? X-ray vans? the Police can stop you at any point and search your vehicle w/o cause in the name of a “check point”. we have “free speech zones” now. your phone can be tapped, your home searched, you every movement can be tacked, all electronic purchases monitored and it is all done wi/o a warrant etc etc the proof that we are becoming more and more of a police state everyday is there. you just have to stop drinking the kool-aid and open your eyes.

  I must not be a conservative though because I want the government out of my business if I am not hurting anyone. I almost forgot the new definition of conservative has nothing to do with the size and power of govt but ONLY fewer taxes. so I guess that’s me typical Maximum freedom – minimal government Liberal right?

  @Doc_Slammin you are preaching to the choir about QE You would be hard pressed to find someone more for ending the Fed than I. you said “Lerner is so concerned about banks and what they are doing to the economy that he misses, as do most media outlets, the tyranny of the U.S. Federal Reserve’s QE program”. The banks ARE the Federal Reserve. their QE program is self supporting. you see we are in agreement here about the Fed just not Beck.
  read your email news letter from glenn on 3/22 jp morgan was the primary target not a bank that “just happened to be one of the banking entities mentioned by Lerner”. you also said “Mr. Beck has not sung the praises of JP Morgan“ again in the link from news letter he said they are one of the strongest banks out there” and are “the strongest of the bunch” on his show he said “they were the most financially sound bank” Which is a blatant lie, They are counterfeiters. He insinuates that they are invaluable to the U.S. economy. In the words of glenn, tell me where I am wrong.

  GETLIFE must not be reading to closely. As I said “I completely disagree with SEIU’s motives for bringing down JP Morgan and their tactics” I listened very closely. What do you think ending the fed would do to our economy? That would cause a crash as well. What is the difference? The end game of Stephen Lerner is wealth redistribution (motive).
  oh and yes please do research what I have said.
