  Having served 30 years (3 as a Seabee and 27 as a combat enginer sapper) I find all of us former service men in the same boat. We have a government that is not willing to support a military of sufficient size to not wear down and tear down the very individuals we count on for our freedoms and a military leadership that is more concerned with the stars than they are with the country. As I recall we all swore to defend the constitution from ALL enemies. We may again need to take that oath some day to defend our way of life. I hope at that time there are some “old” snipers to give me cover.

  If you have ever dealt with a tank that had the valve break off from banging around in the back of a truck or had to to suppress a propane fire or pick up the pieces from a tank explosion your opinion of just how safe a propane tank is would change. All the numbers and expansion ratios just fall away in a real fire and there is nothing in the aftermath but body bags and debris.
