  I am a white woman and I listen to the Smiley and West show on occasion and i can say that he speaks against oppression for all people of all races. Some might consider the achievement of a PhD from Princeton against all odds a measure of success. All you see is a black man with an afro; no one here listened to what he was saying. He quoted Marvin Gaye for goodness sake! he said nothing about “music that glamorized a life of crime” as you put it.

  He never mentioned hate. He was actually protesting US imperialism and the use of 9/11 Never Forget as a tool of manipulation in getting Americans to “consent to our own domination”. DHS, TSA, martial law, police state, countless wars…do you really think this is about terrorism?
