Quite disappointing that somehow Mohler thinks that God needs us to defend Him and his commands. The issue is not that the current Christians will have a problem defending **** relationships because we can’t model good marriage, etc. SIN is SIN…
Somehow the church and these so called religious leaders, seem to think that God has selectively allowed certain sinners to be part of the church and somehow exclude others…I have seen fat gluttonous men sit on the board of Deacons or in pulpits, businessmen and lawyers who lie and cheat during the week and serve communion on Sunday…
The issue is that people are afraid to call ALL Sin, Sin, and ALL people are sinners.
We all need a saving grace that only Jesus provides. The problem is that we’ve opened the church to some forms of unrepentant sin and not others. An unrepentant adulterer or drunk or cheater or lier is just as much a sinner as an unrepentant homosexual. Grace and repentance is the answer. The two go together

It is amazing that “not political” now includes letters from senators…
Why cant Panned Parenthood give others a “choice” about how to support them…After all, they are all about a “women’s right to choose…”, Well, what abouot other’s rights to choose to support them…I say it is time for Planned Parenthood to set up a separate organization, just for abortions, and one for women’s health…This way there can be a “choice” as to how to support them, and better transparency for giving, government grants and how they spend the money they get as a non profit…
Oh…and I already have a name for them…it could be the “other APP store…“ The ”APP Clinic“ as in ”Abortions by Planned Parenthood

If you can “explain” God, then he’s not God. My God is so infinitely greater than anything i can understand. It seems to me, there is an educational plateau that most intellectuals and other “elite” thinkers reach that stops them moving in the direction of belief or faith…They miss the opportunity to truly understand what God is all about. Understanding God is all about moving beyond what you can explain and moving into faith. That is where the fun begins!
