  He was a gifted hustler much like the YBA’s just with a different style to hustle. Candy color, moderate drawing, moderate design, stage lightning, and loaded with sentimentality. But that was his gig, and he did that better than anyone else. I hate his work and envy his business talent.

  10 Alsbach’s came from Germany specifically to fight to free the slaves. They understood slavery because they had been serfs for over a thousand years. Yet in your mind, we are ex-slave masters… you sir, are a man of evil intent.

  OK guys & gals not all graduates with Liberal Arts degrees are liberal. I have a BFA and an MFA I’ve been an artist (painter) for going on 40 years, and I am conservative. It is often like being deep dark black at a KKK convention, to be a conservative in the art world. It’s cost me a couple of teaching gigs. I’ve worked in construction and now have a small Waste business (yeah I’m a trashman) but by God I still paint. And yes it still ****** tons of my art ‘friends’ off. Especially since I use my real name in comments sections, and defend the Catholic Church, real conservatives, not RINO’s, not CINO’s. So give me a break on the Liberal Arts cracks.

  This is getting real old. There are almost 500,000 priests in the world, and less than1% have ever even been accused of a crime. There is no other calling, no other profession where in the make members can make that claim. I’m 54 went to Catholic schools, Catholic churches all of my life. MY 4 siblings, 28 cousins all taught by priests, nuns, and brothers (monks) in all of that time and with all of those religious people I have known two priests who are recovering alcoholics, and one who had a fling with a Nun and left the priesthood. I have known one Nun besides who left because of a loss of faith.

  Charity does not begin with the gov‘t’s money taken from us. Forced giving is dictatorship, it is the paying of tribute $ to the aristocracy (“the ruling class”), to the king (our current embarassment B.O.)… and thinking, understanding Americans are unwilling to live under a dictatorship. I would literally rather die. Might I suggest reading some Solzhenitsyn, to inform yourself of what can happen, how it happens and what the results are.

  There could be a worse president than B.O. I mean it is imaginable. I won’t vote for B.O. to me it seems a sin. Any of the current Repub. candidates suit me fine, though I would prefer Santorum because there is no BS with him.

  BTW lay off the Catholic Church, any group with 1.2 billion members, and is 2,000 years old is going to have made some bad mistakes, however… we feed more people, cloth more people, shelter more people, heal more people than any other NGO in the world. And many of us, very many, intensely dislike the direction the Daughters of Charity have taken over the last few decades. It stated out gradual and quiet but they have Flown their Red Banner for all to see now. They are fixing to catch Holy Hell, but it won’t happen over night, the Church is very deliberate in these things, we have learned a few lessons from our mistakes over the centuries. One more thing… the whole quoting from The Council of Hell…. give me a break, that is a rip off, of a rip off of Milton’s Paradise Lost. Write your own stuff Jezreel. We have no fear of you, we fear God Almighty, His Paraclete and His merciful Son. Which is why you are always working hardest to smear us.

  Some of the church leaders were naive, some were foolish, and some were stupid. Only Sr. Carol Keehan is a Marxist, and she needs a nice long trip to a mission… maybe in Palestine.
