  The arrogance of the “ruling class” is simply amazing. These people do truly believe that the nation cannot survive without their ideas. They have held power for so long and looked down their noses at the average citizen, that they have lost touch with reality. For decades they have controlled the message thru their apparatchiks in the media, that they are now in denial that this new medium and a citizenry that reads is on to the fact that they have been ever so slowly controlling every aspect of our lives. We now know their little insider game and their response is snide remarks and giggles. November is coming and if the new guys get co-opted like that arrogant Trent Lott proposes, we will thru them out also.

  We have been spending billions electing new federal officers, when we should be looking at throwing out the cowards who have overspent on the local level and now like pigs at the trough are willing to accept mandates to receive stimulus money, which doesn’t exist and is borrowed from the future. Of course the cowards would argue that if they don’t take the money someone else will and besides they would have to lay off police, fire and emergency personel if they didn’t get the money. Never mentioned is the fact that most of the people writing these new requlations and the thugs enforcing the rules are the pork that should be eliminated.
