  Drug legalization in America would curb this problem. Making drugs legal would allow for supply to actually meet demands, lowering the price of the drugs, which would then leave less profit for the cartels, thereby dethroning their power monopoly and ending their reign of terror. Of course, this might be too much power for the DEA and the Feds to let go. Joaquín Guzmán Loera (”El Chapo Guzmán”) knows that our “War on Drugs” helps to pay his bills, (making him filthy rich,) and he openly thanked the U.S. government and I believe several presidents for their drug policies. If you don’t believe me, let’s try an experiment: decriminalize marijuana, then we will sit down and chat in two years to see how it’s going. :)

  I thought poisonous was the term for any animal that has or uses poison, but not necessarily dangerous to humans, while venomous would refer to any animal whose poison is toxic to humans. I may have to do further research.
