  • Got a problem with Ron Paul supporters getting sick of being ignored? Well then STOP IGNORING RON PAUL. Then this sort of stuff won’t happen. RP deserves fair coverage from the media and the GOP.

  • @Republic
    So what? Are you saying most military members are birthers, 9/11 truthers and neo-nazis too? I don’t know about you, but most of Paul’s supporters ARE military. Do your research before spouting off non-sense.

  • Agree’d! The least any of you can do is help this man in his time of need. Guys like this are the reason why we’re not under the banner of the third reich.

  • Good for you Marine! 150,000 is what it takes for you to buy out your contract and live a comfortable life, if you so choose to. I honestly can say I would. Then I could finally live out my dream and join a paid fire-department. In other words, don’t waste it

    I have no problem with this. BUT! The difference is if your are at work, don’t be stupid and drink. When I’m off duty, yes, I like to have a few drinks to unwind, but I never drink within 8 hours of having to head to work because A) its stupid and B) the last thing I want to deal with at work is nursing a hangover with tons of different things happening at once.

  • FYI, yes I am eligible for Affirmative Action and various scholarships due to my ethnic background, however, I turn them all down and refuse to put my background on a paper asking for it. I don’t see myself as Mexican American, or Irish American. I see myself as just American. Or F’n American if you want. I think everyone should do the same and stop segregating yourselves.

    That IS how it is in most states. Even for non-drug related crimes. My buddy went to prison for computer related crimes. When he got out and was given probation, he has to submit to random drug-screenings.

  • While I do agree some of the comments the girls made were ignorant, I also believe that black people are JUST AS RACIST. For example, I got into a spat with a black guy a few weeks back in a bar because he accused me of checking out his girlfriend. I tried to be polite, and apologized if it seemed that way. He just kept on til he eventually escalated to calling me a Honky, *******, and trailer trash. I snapped right there. Didn’t throw any punches, but I pretty much told him that first off, I’m Mexican Irish and explained to him my family history. We were too poor to even think of owning slaves. That and the only experience my family had with slaves was being slaves of the Aztecs. He kept going til I finally told him I don’t owe him s$#@. He really didn’t like that answer and resorted to calling me a salt-water n#$$@^. So yeah, if you want to try to say white people are the only one’s who are capable of being racist, climb out from under your rock.

    @KangarooJack
    That’s a bit different though. I highly doubt any of you would want someone with my job high off their ass. While yes, I do agree fingerprinting prior to checking in a bit much, my point is, why should someone get free money when there’s a chance they might use the money to purchase drugs and such? I’m not saying if you need financial assistance that you are automatically a druggie, but if you are not, then why should you be worried? Honestly, like I read on here earlier, if you can afford to squeeze drugs into your budget, then you don’t need financial assistance. It’s not like the government is asking for a blood sample, or hair sample or something.

  • If I have to pee in a cup every once in a while in order to keep my job in the military and EARN my money, then why shouldn’t Joe Shmoe have to pee in a cup to GET free money?
