  I don’t understand the problem w/ Liberty @ this location. My niece’s best friend just graduated from Liberty University in VA. It is a Christian College but from what she has said that there was no extremism. Most colleges in thos country were started by churches to teach ministers. Is Mass so afraid of having a real Christian College there will somehow harm them? Have any of them visited Liberty in Va to see what that college is like? You won’t have all the beer /drinking parties or all the sex going on but what is wrong with that? The students learn, get degrees & become productive members of society. Maybe liberal Mass is just INTOLERANT & would prefer an Islamic College (I think it is more suitable to their world viewI don’t think you should condem a school because of someone/thing that happened .some 30+ yrs ago!!

  I am not willing to give my hard earned money for a “Global Minimum Tax” to help the rest of the world! I give when / where I want to give & it is not to some global group that doesn’t like the US to start with & would like to see us hit rock bottom (I think the Pres wants to see that as well!).
  My taxes are for use in my country unless I decide to put it elsewhere.

  I supported Newt back in Iowa, until I heard a bitter, angry man complain that he disn’t win, that there were negative ads from Romney but he never mentioned the negative ads from Ron Paul & from what I saw, Paul’s ads were rougher & more negative than Romney’s. What does he think Obama will do .. be nice? He has complained everywhere except SC. I really don’t like his personal attacks on Romney, calling him a liar, a dishonest person & then suggestind Santorum get out. Newt hasn’t been a man of total honor – I mean 3 wives, cheating on wife #1 with #2 & then cheating on wife #2 with current wife…. What does that tell you about the man?

  What arrogrance! Who even thought FDR & LBJ wer among the greatest presidents? I nominate Washington, Jefferson & Lincoln before the 2 dems who created the entitlement systems we are now burdened with. This man is not a great president to anyone but himself!!

  If the offended person cannot even give their name, then it can’t be too offensive! It’s the group against religion from Wisconsin just needs the name of a Texan. I didn’t think Texans got offended by too many things … but by a manger scene that has been around for 35 years? Come on! I am glad those pastors are fighting for this as there aren’t many Christian holidays that are celebrated thru-out the year. My prayers are with you! There was a man in my apt complex who is Hindu & he likes the Christmas good will, not the religious part but he has a tree & exchanges gifts. It’s a shame that Americans who have never been persecuted for their faith here are the ones trying to tear Christianity down here.

  I am so tired of people not being able to use federal land BECAUSE OF THEIR FAITH. It won’t be long before the atheists / freethinkers, etc will go after ‘In God We trust on our money & the scripture in the Supreme Court bldg. I do put a lot of blame (tho not all) on Pres Obama who has stopped making pronouncements for the ‘National Day of Prayer’ which Christian s & anyone with any faith can join. He would not allow the prayer from FDR from WWII to be included in the new WWII memorial. This is the part that mentions God! I believe that if it mentioned Allah, Mr Obama would have no problem, after all THAT would be a major transformation ijn America. They are already teaching our kids lies about our Founding Fathers because those now in those positions are those who wanted to change the country in the ’60s. They are now in charge & it‘s let’s get rid of God everywhere & let’s desrtoy family values.
  I hope the Marines don’t cave into this demand tho I fear they will!

  It’s only a victory if the citizens & businesses in the area of the park are able to go about their business without being disrupted by these protestors, Businesses are losing money, people are losing jobs & before you know it, NY will have lost billions of dollars it doesn’t even have to spend! Imagins the Tea Party with tents & month long protesting against ‘who knows what’???? Would the Gov’t have been so respectful of their protests? NO .. They wouldn’t be & they just called us Astro-turf & racists. Yet we protested w/ signs for a day or so about specific issues & left the place cleaner than it was when we got there. Still, we were racists! Yet these people can talk about the destruction of the system which has kept this country richer than any other & it all goes back to those protestors in the 60s. They didn’t get what they wanted then & they have been the ppl teaching our kids all thru school & teaching their ideas – Marxist, Communist, Socialst, & the biggest thing they have taught is that this country is bad, evil, etc. Because we expected teachers to teach critical thinking, etc (no political views as truth, ie – global warming) we didn’t realize we should have been fighting back. Those same ppl are also in charge of many courts across the country so we have a judge telling the city that they cannot evict these ppl from a private part in a neighborhood where non-protestors live.   So is the Bureau of Land Mgmt saying we cannot include the actual words of the President @ the time our soldiers were landing on D-Day .. you know, the truth, what was actually said? So the words of a Democratic president some 60 or so yrs ago would “dilute this elegant memorial’s central message and its ability to clearly convey that message to move, educate, and inspire its many visitors” . What a bunch of liars! If the messag3e had mentioned Islam, I am sure they would include that … & God is God to all faiths where Abraham, Isaac & Jacob are mentioned & that includes Christianity, Jewish & Muslim. How dare they refuse to include an important part of history spoken by FDR???

  I like Mr. Cain’s 9-9-9 plan. Straight & easy to understabd! I, too, am tired of 47% of Americans not paying ederal taxes & some getting large refunds than I ever did. I pay about 38% a pay for taxes now. I would really like to keep my earned money instead of giving so much of my $$$ to the government!
