  • Tip or no tip, what the manager did may be interpreted as kidnapping. This is a civil dispute and should be settled by legal action. Not by personally detaining the customer.

  • Quote from VOX’s post.

“Vox, even if everything you say is true, IT IS NOT THEIR LAND!”

“Then whose is it? The government’s? Here was have a bunch of private citizens reappropriating land from a government agency that was using taxpayer funding to maintain the land and was about to sell it for the state’s profit.

I would think you’d all be cheering the Occupiers on.”

You seem to be arguing that it‘s ok for a few taxpayer’s (we won’t even look into that) to seize property that belongs to all taxpayer’s whether the other taxpayers want them to or not. You also seem to be saying that the money derived by selling the property ends up as profit for the state. Exactly how does it work that the land belongs to taxpayer’s and funds going into the state which eventually are distributed back to the public in the form of services (wanted or not) are “state profits”?
In other words, you seem to take the position that the land is the peoples when it is seized and the states when it is sold? Do you see a little inconsistency in that position?

  • Did Jesus Christ Really Exist?

A favorite argument of naysayers is that the story of Jesus’s life mimics pagan legends and is borrowed from earlier beliefs. The fact is that there is not one original source to establish this claim. It is a relatively modern position and often stated or quoted as fact. People who state this are repeating it from other people who are repeating it from other people. I challenge atheist to find one original source for establishing that there was a pagan religion or cult based on a god or son of a god who was born of a virgin, died and resurrected.

  • If you wonder why Democrats and EuroCrats and OWS idiots are anti Israel, consider that Israel is the closest in governmental form to the USA of any nation in that part of the world. They are a potential roadblock to the statest desire to develop an EU style one world order run by un-elected bureaucrats. In fact, the Palestinian supporting EU is now run by a couple dozen commissioners (or Zars) who were never elected. Sound familiar?

You know what the real problem is…? So-called Christians like these people in Tennessee pushing for school prayer can’t pray or otherwise speak with God unless they make a big public production out of it. Anyone can pray wherever they want…at school, at work, in a movie, at the grocery, or wherever you want to pray. The problem is with these so-called Christians who want to always make it a public spectacle. Didn’t Jesus say something about people like that?”

Yeah, he said “Go teach all nations.”

  • My son uses Firefox. He cleaned all cookies, history etc. Then went to a third party website and just waited five minutes. He checked and the google cookies were back on his computer.

  • Dr. J was TRAVELING

  • Anyone know the mechanism that allows the in flight adjustments? Do the fins move?

  • Great decision!

My six year old granddaughter really noticed our ancient wooden nativity scene with hay and moss covering for the first time this year.

She took one look at it and asked, “Doesn’t God ever clean his house?”

If the MRFF keeps pushing, maybe He will do a little house cleaning.

  • This is to all the folks who think he should physically restrain the girl instead of taser. I am willing to bet you never have been in a situation where there was a crowd of the suspect’s peers watching you make an arrest. Struggling with a suspect, even for a minute is the surest way to get pounced on by any nearby hot heads and end up overpowered and losing your weapon to a mob. Confrontations such as this need to end quickly and decisively for the safety of both the officer and the suspect.
