  • As a woman, I don‘t understand why women keep complaining that they can’t afford birth control. There are two parties involved in this act… if you really can’t afford it, make him pay for it or stop having sex with men who don’t care enough about you to protect you or themselves, but for heaven’s sake, leave me and my paycheck out of it!

  • If that were true and I don’t believe it is….the legality of it certainly didn’t keep them from obtaining it but it, but keeping it illegal makes sure there is no quality control!

    In reply to Anamah.

LOL….First he is a racist, then he cares more about Muslims than Americans……you can’t have it both ways!

  • Really people? It’s one thing to have a politician make promises to you and you vote for him and then he breaks his promise. You feel like you were lied to and you vow never to vote for that person again. It’s another thing when you had his track record in your hands before you ever went to the polls and you voted for him anyway. It has to be Romney or Newt or Perry? You might as well vote for Obama.
You can call my vote wasted, you can blame me for putting Obama back in office, but there‘s no way I’m voting for the lesser of three fake conservatives in this primary. Conservative means less government. None of these candidates track records support that. Did we learn nothing from the McCain fiasco?

  • Hey, maybe I could be a liberal after all….let’s see, I take a pay cut, but I get to sit at home and do what I want to do instead of working. Doesn’t sound so bad, where do I sign up. For that matter, I have a lot of friends and relatives who would be willing to quit their jobs, too. I’m assuming this would be tax free?! And no commuting costs, no daycare costs….I’m making my to do list now: go shopping, walk in park, visit the coast and swim in the ocean, I would probably have a lot of free time to protest and demand a raise, too!!! (Is this guy really that stupid?)

  • You know, I don’t have a college education, but even I am intelligent enough to know that you don‘t have to give someone like Piven a platform and support them with speaker’s fees in order to study their message and discuss it in the classroom. Yes, like it or not we do have to study the arguments and proposals of opposing philosophies or we cannot knowledgeably discredit them. But they didn’t have to invite her to speak and for that they should answer to the parents and students who chose that institution for its values.

  • !!!NEWS ALERT!!! – Cats everywhere join in protest against proposed national “fat tax” on cream!

  • We worry about Iran having a nuclear weapon half way around the world, while we leave the doors open on our borders here at home. I’ll believe our government is really worried about National Security when they find a way to secure the border. Until then it just looks like they’re playing on fear to push their agenda in the middle east.

  • Do it anyway or succeed…your state has rights and an obligation to protect it’s citizens.

  • Just read a Marie Claire interview with Mika, who stated in response to a question about her salary, “There’s always more money to be made.” What a hypocrite. Takes job she doesn’t need, then sets out to make as much money as she can, then blames others for doing the same. Bravo Mika…spoken like a true capitalist!
