  • I’d love to do that and would if I lived near there…of course, I’d never leave Texas for California!

  • This is so wrong. I’d wear the American flag shirt and be willing to go to jail for it.

  • This is from the Mansfield ISD website…they have “drunk the Kool-Aid”. Come on, Texans! Progressives everywhere, even in Texas:

What is the Arabic Foreign Language Assistance Program Grant?

This grant is a wonderful opportunity for the students in MISD. We have been selected as one of only five districts across the country to participate in the grant that provides Arabic studies. Arabic studies include language acquisition, culture, government, art, traditions and history. MISD has been awarded a total of $1.3 million over a five year period to promote learning. Mansfield ISD graduates will possess the language proficiency and cross cultural communication skills to compete in the 21st century. Our students will be at an advantage in an increasingly diverse and economically global society.

  • I’m sure that the school district is partly to blame, but it stems from a Department of Education bribe to obtain a grant for the district. I hope that there are protests and petitions forming. Foreign languages should be OPTIONAL or they should at least be able to choose their language.

  • Although I totally respect people who homeschool, not every parent is well suited to educating their children beyond a certain level. We are lucky to live in a conservative district and have great schools. There are a few issues, but we stay involved and ensure that our kids have the right information from us. If all conservatives leave the public school system, the progressives will have nobody to stop their agenda.
