  Oh good grief! Grow up, Cain! I was thinking about donating to Cain’s campaign, but if bothers to stoop to this level to make an opportunity to throw a punch at Perry, then to heck with him.

  Where I grew up on Galveston Bay, there was an island that is about a mile due west of Smith Point that was called “N-head Island” on the old NOAA charts (published by the government, mind you)!!

  The name changed on the charts long about the 1970‘s or 80’s to “Bird Island”.

  Grow up! The KKK was rampant here in Texas too (just as it was up north), but that does NOT mean that we all subscribe to their screwed up ways of thinking!

  I think this only one of many, many instances that shows that our government cannot be trusted. Who knows what subversive activities go on that our governement officials authorize in the name of the U.S.? (Sudenly the word “czar” comes to mind…) Who or what system is in place to keep a check on these people from being able to authorize these sorts of activities?

  Hey Creestof, as soon as these subsidies are taken away, guess what’s going to happen to the price of a gallon of gasoline…it’s going to go UP!!! Don’t cry when it does, apparently you are asking for it. Have you even paid any attention to how much you are taxed at the pump per gallon that you buy? IF so, have you compared that to what these companies earn? You ought to be infuriated that the taxes that are levied against you at the pump are literally WASTED at the federal level!!!

  Next election, Boehner needs to be voted out, period.

  Those of us who are of Anglo/European descent here in Texas are becoming a minority, and fast. Google check that fact if you need some proof.

  I don’t have a problem with what this gentleman is doing with this scholarship idea. Scholarship money can go to whatever group or inidividual you wish it to, and if he wants to give it to people of Anglo/European descent, more power to him.
