Separation of church and state is a myth. No where in our Constitution are those words or that idea promulgated. The clause is clearly intended to keep the government from establishing a state church such as the Pilgrams fled when they left England.

SOMEONE with a vision could buy up whole blocks for less than a home elsewhere. Then secede from Detroit, develop those properties, and rake in the dough. Only trouble is, where woulds the inhabitants work.
Well, how about a resort, a vacation paradise? Oh yeah, Detroit. A tough sell. Or maybe sell tours of the crack houses and burned out shells.
Don’t know what or how, but I smell opportunity.
Olive Garden: American Flag Display Would ‘Disrupt the Dining Experience’

We quit them 8 or 10 years ago. They mostly have the same design, with various sized rooms, which are semi-private or semi-open, depending on your point of view.
Kiwanis is a great organization with members all over the country. These members are influential in their communities. We were told many years ago that if a person is treated well by a business, they will tell between 2 and 20 people about that experience. If a person is treated poorly by a business, they will tell 200. Now, with the web, this lady who was dissed by olive garden has told between 200,000 and 2,000,000. This has the potential of doing in that franchise and possibly the entire chain.
