  What!? Left philosophy is that if you put the same thing into a function, you can get a different result. Therefore, what happened in the past does not matter. This time there will be a different result to the same input. Just because a hammer falls to the ground every time it is dropped, does not mean it must fall to the ground again. If we wish it hard enough, the hammer just may float upward.

  A few thoughts:
  1. Nothing will be done after the November election. Republicans will not gain a veto proof majority. It will be nice just to have a majority. Without a veto proof majority, every repeal voted on will be vetoed.
  2. Obama’s goal is the progressive goal, to destroy America. Each decision he makes is bad for America and against voters, because he wants to destroy America.
  3. Obama claims to be a Christian, but denies personal salvation through belief in Christ. He believes in something he calls (not exactly correct phrase) collective salvation. If salvation is accomplished through a collective, then for what reason did Christ die on the cross? If you deny redemption through the blood of Christ, then how can he call himself a follower of Christ, a Christian?
  4. Mohammad, in the Koran, says Jesus Christ is a Prophet. Jesus says He is the way, the truth and the light. No One can come to God except through Him, our Lord Christ. So this leaves one of three options. A) Christ is a liar and should not be considered a Prophet, or B) Mohammad is a liar in calling Christ a prophet., or C) both are telling the truth and Muslims should become Christians and follow Christ as directed by Mohammad.

  Background checks for the honorable elected? It has already been noted that Obama could not have passed a security clearance. He is personal friends with too many Communists and Terrorists.

  I like the idea of hand writing the bills and providing a hand written copy to each representative. It would take years to make that many hand copies of ObamaCare. Maybe someone might actually READ it while transcribing it. Then maybe we wouldn‘t have to pass it to find out what’s in it. What Bozos in CA elected her in the first place. Are they too stupid to vote her out now that everyone knows what a mistake it was voting her in?

  The Pastor should not burn the Koran now. He should wait. If the Mosque is a go at ground zero, then EVERY PATRIOT should burn a Koran in protest. Imagine one million Korans burned in protest and then blame the imam building the mosque for inciting Americans to have to protest in such a way. If the burning of one Koran is that much of an insult, imagine a million of them all over the nation in protest of the mosque at ground zero.

  Here are two thoughts:
  1. In the Koran Mohammad says Jesus Christ was a prophet. Muslims believe the words of the prophets are to be taken seriously and followed. Jesus Christ said “ I am the way” and “no one can come to the Father but through me”. Therefore by the words of Mohammad, Muslims should become Christians.
  2. The Radical Muslim as a religion is a bastardization of the Koran. It is a Cancer within the Muslim religion. The cure for cancer currently is one of two steps.
  A) Radiate the infected area. Nukes could do a nice job here.
  B) Remove the cancerous cells. But in doing so, surrounding cells must also be removed, “to be sure all the cancer is gotten.” A logical application of this would be to remove the cancerous individual and all those who contributed to that person becoming cancerous. This is needed to protect the “body” of humanity from a cancerous growth infesting it.
  Neither of these will, of course, ever happen. Therefore, expect the cancerous growth to continue and grow until it kills the body of humanity.

  Dannide, I agree with your sentiment. But the Republican Party can become just as corrupt as the Democratic Party is now. One of the comments said we need to vote for people of character and I agree. But Obama is a character, you must agree. No one I know would want to go through the media “anal exam” someone running for office would have to go through. Therefore the best WON’T run. Less than the best MUST have limits on what power they have. Term limits, say two terms like the Presidential limit, is the only way to make sure the officeholder will represent the electorate and not special interests.

  We should show respect for the position. The man or woman holding the position may not deserve our respect, but the position they hold demands our respect and thus the person holding the office for the sake of the office. Respect for people who have passed is traditional. The funeral deserves respect as does the office held by the deceased. That does not mean the deceased deserves our respect, but any funeral and any elected office deserves our respect. Obama the person does not deserve my, or any thinking person’s respect in any way. However, the President of the United States deserves and has all my respect. He is MY President, and my President deserves and gets my respect.
