  “The most hurtfull, violent behavior against people have been done by poliice”, states Councilmember Nadel. That to me sounds like she favors anarchy. Police are being hit with bottles, rocks, etc., and that is okay with Nadel. If the Oakland city council promotes anarchy than that city is doomed. I am just wondering, how much time has Nadel and her socialist co-horts on the city council spent hanging out with those peaceful OW’S. Maybe she should go spend a couple of days “living the experience”. She may come back with a different way of looking at OW, that is if she isn’t beaten or raped by one of its good-hearted members.

  This teacher should be fired!!!! Suspended with pay…what a joke! How many other teachers are trying to intimidate young minds into being afraid to speak out. Too many communist in our school system these days. If I had a young child, I would home school.

  Thanks Richard for spreading the “Word”. What you don‘t understand is that the Bible has a way of doing something science can’t, healing hearts, and believe or not, God is far more powerful than you or any other human being. So bring it on, Richard. This is a gift that God will certainly use to spread his message of love, morality, joy and hope through Jesus Christ which you seem to have such a hard time with. Richie, I bet God even loves you! Sometimes what we fight against is what we need the most.

  If there is anything we can learn from this tragedy is that: Neighborhood Watch participants should always have some kind of clear and well-seen identification on their car or on their person while patroling a neighborhood. Did Zimmerman have anything to signify that he was a neighborhood watch participant. Maybe it would have changed the dynamic. I believe what happened was that Trayvon Martin was freaked out ( it is possible he was stoned which can heighten a sense of fear because he had mariquana in his system), so while Zimmerman was on the phone with cops, Martin hid behind something, and so when Zimmerman got out of the car to look for him, Martin assumed he was being targeted so he jumped Zimmerman. So the second thing we learn from this tragedy is that violence is never a way to settle a dispute or perceived danger unless you have all the facts. If Martin had simply asked Zimmerman what he wanted, Zimmerman would have told him that he was part of the neighborhood patrol, Martin would have explained that he was in the neighborhood to visit his father, and it would have ended there. A tragic event that deserves to have something good come from it.

  I think what he means is that this is obviously an American school so why the heck is this woman speaking in Spanish only. Is she trying to exclude the English-speaking students? Seems to me that is discrimination. Taxpayers are footing the bill for this crazy woman!

  90% of poor people are poor because of the choices they make. Giving people everything for free only encourages them to live the same lifestyle because, God forbid, if they work they will lose all the free, free, free. The welfare system is a trap to keep the poor under the government’s control. It makes me sick when I hear the lies spewed by liberals about how they are trying to care for the poor by giving them more free stuff. It is degrading and goes along with their philosophy that individual life does not matter.

  Brings back fond memories of my son playing little league. I will never forget the day when he was about 8 and he got into the car after practice and said, “Mom, baseball is my life”, and then without taking a breath said, “Oh, and I need a nut cup, Mom…coach said”. Priceless. My son went on to play ball through his grade school and high school years, and I think that the game taught him many important lessons about life.

  Pepsi was caught using stem cells to enhance the sweetness of their diet soda products during research taste tests.. Oh yeah….it is happening already in this country. Creepiness for sure. The only reason Pepsi stopped using the stem cells or baby by-products was because their shareholders were outraged when the story broke. All part of the progressive’s message that life is no longer priceless. That parts of human beings can be bought. Think twice before you go popping the top of that next Pepsi product.
