  I’m not sure Paul would think being labeled “least conservative” a bad thing.

  here is an interesting article by Austrian economist Hayek explaining why he is not a conservative:

  I’m not going to say I agree with everything Hayek claims, but he sure makes a good argument. He basically makes the argument that conservatives’ main goal is to slow the change brought about by others. He makes a compelling argument for the libertarian or classical liberal viewpoint.

  The current administration has an external view of it’s role (at least to the public) in the sense that all good outcomes are because of them and all bad outcomes are most definitely not their fault.
