  • Too bad they didn’t seek the truth on the edited acorn video, or the edited planned parenthood video, or the edited Shirley Sharrod video. BTW I noticed it wasn’t Glenn who sussed this out but his replacement. Oh well I‘m sure the next video that James O’keefe makes will undergo the same scrutiny that this one did. Good job Blaze, maybe there is hope for you yet. Some of the people here not so much.

  • Yes I am so glad he did it this way, now we can truly see the corrupt walker for what he is, a less than half term gov. He and the rest of the repuglys are done.I can’t wait for the fun to begin.Recall anyone? I’d say soon to be ex-Gov Walker should start packing his bags.

    In reply to Affirmative Blaction.

Hear comes another Gov. recall. That guy just signed his resignation papers.

  • I agree if your religion has to be everywhere it can’t mean much. Here’s something all you “ Good Christians” might want to read:
How to pray to God – What does the Bible say?

Jesus shares some tremendous insight regarding how to pray to God in Matthew 6:5-13.

“And now about prayer. When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I assure you, that is all the reward they will ever get. But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father secretly. Then your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you.

“When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think prayers are answered only by repeating words over and over again. Don’t be like them, because your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven. Give us our food for today, and forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”

In the above verses, Jesus shares how not to pray.

Verse 5: We are to pray in secret, not the way people did in His day — praying out loud publicly, primarily to just be seen, and heard.
Verse 6: Jesus asks us to go to a private place since our Heavenly Father already knows what we are going to pray about.
Verse 7: Jesus tells us not to ramble on and on, as people of other religions do, or be repetitious with words. God, our heavenly Father, would have us be specific about our prayer.
Verse 8: Jesus reiterates that the believer is not to pray repetitiously like the heathen.
Next, Jesus, teaches us how to pray.
Verse 9: Jesus says we should give honor to God and His name.
Verse 10: We are to pray for His Kingdom to come, and for His will to be done, that there would be a heavenly or godly presence here on earth.
Verse 11: We are to pray for daily provision.
Verse 12: We are to pray and ask for forgiveness for our sins, and for others who have wronged us.
Verse 13: We are to pray and ask God to keep us from being tempted, and to deliver us from Satan and his power.

@ GLENNBECKISSOOOSMAAARRTT………………..Your age old argument of denigrating Christians because they have sin, crying hypocrite! hypocrite! Will not excuse your lack of faith as you face judgment. You will not be able to justify yourself by pointing to the sin of others in any way. I can say with all honesty that I would love to talk with you face to face in a personal way and share with you why I have the faith I do. I used to be an atheist and had much angst against Christians, so I know where you are coming form, however, other sinners are not the measure of which to condemn Jesus or what He taught or reject the salvation that he offers. Which is the whole point of Christianity, acknowledging that we all have sin and need a savior to redeem us from the curse of the law and eternal death. I will pray for you today and hope this doesn’t offend you. I hope you will consider my words and think on them rather than just dismissing them. Thank you.

Bring it on otherhand. You know nothing about my faith or lack thereof. I know many Christians and not one of them condems me for my faith or lack thereof. I only take offense when someone tries to push their beliefs on other people. Pray for me all you want I have no problem with that. My problem comes from Christians who condem others because they believe something else. IF(and that is a big IF) your God is the only one and you finally get to stand before him I hope you do get to stay where he is and be happy. Me, I hope I will be with the people I love and not some God who only expects perfection to get into heaven. If he’s all forgiving then why is there the threat of hell? Why can someone who has done horrible things their whole life murder, assault of children, animals, the planet get to be “saved” seconds before they die just by saying ‘I believe now”. Why did your God put disease and birth defects into his “plan”? Why do children get cancer or other debilitating problems.
The more I think about your God the more I think He is a game player. Playing with us like the Simms game. Here is my prayer: I pledge allegiance to the earth and all the life which it supports. One planet in our care, irreplaceable, with sustenance and respect for all. So I will pray for all life on this planet, you can pray for only those that you deem worthy. BTW, sin is matter of perspective, my children were not baptised, they are law abiding people who volunteer and help those who need it. They didn’t need a God to believe in to do it. Try helping people because you want to not because some God said you have to, to get a “reward in heaven”.

Encinom, please show me where it says this in the constitution! It is not in there. It says the federal government shall NOT meddle in established religion.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Even someone as blind as you can surely understand the context this is written in? Congress cannot forbid the posting of the ten commandments in a school. Not without amending this first. The Supreme Court has no power to make law, only to interpret law and give an OPINION on it.

What do you have against the ten commandments? Why do you hate God? ;-)
First which God are you claiming he hates?( be more specific please.)
I noticed you said “I would not object to cutouts of the Greek gods on the walls.” (Because they are a myth maybe?)
How about a copy of the Koran in all the class rooms.
I hear all the time how “Muzzlums” shouldn’t be allowed to have a place to pray in schools.
    Hypocricy much. IOKIYAR I guess.

  • Too funny the “students” are upset??? I doubt the students give a crap. If they really cared or really followed the commandments they wouldn’t have almost came to blows over it. I love how “ God loving christians” are so ready to come to blows over trivial things like this. If you really are a follower of Jesus Christ it would not be necessary to display them as a reminder of how to behave. You would already know how to treat your fellow humans. But then again from what I’ve seen here, maybe the ten commandments should be the first thing you all see when you come here.

  • A union employee, a tea party activist, and a CEO are sitting at a table with a plate of a dozen cookies in the middle of it. The CEO takes 11 of the cookies, turns to the tea partier and says, ‘Watch out for that union guy. He wants a piece of your cookie.”
