  The exercise of compassion, as with other emotions, should be tempered with wisdom and discernment. Many times, spur of the moment compassion does more harm than good.

  You are correct. If the union prevents this guy from being dismissed, then the union should be held liable for any harm that comes to anyone as the result of his deficiencies.

  Atheism = In the beginning, there was nothing. Then, nothing happened to the nothing causing it to explode (for no apparent reason). Then, the nothing that exploded became everywhere and everything. The bits and pieces of the nothing then began to self-assemble and re-produce (for no apparent reason) and became dinosaurs…oooooooooooo k.

  So the same guy that pretty much blew off the National Day of Prayer is now holding a prayer vigil? What’s up with that? I think DB321 makes an excellent point. God always answers prayer…but sometimes the answer is “no”.

  On the whole Fluke thing: Doesn’t it seem hypocritical that many of the same people who want the government to stay out of their bedrooms and stay out of their wombs want that same government to provide free birth control and abortion on demand…think about it…it seems self-contradictory at the very least.
