  • I didn’t see them mention Ron Paul in the article about being “Factually Challenged” and nice way to say a lying A$$ politician. Must be because the AP loves the cause of liberty. Yeah, must be.

  • All you need to know about Newt Gingrich

  • Poll: Who Won Tuesday’s GOP Presidential Debate?

    October 19, 2011 at 12:08am

    In reply to Secessionista.

Cain would be a huge mistake for treasury, he supported TARP, wasn’t sure which administration passed TARP(He blamed Obama for TARP, Bush passed TARP as part of his plan to “abandon the free market system to save it” non-sense.), he missed the housing bubble, and thinks Alan Greenspan was a good Fed Chairman. Cain said the economy was just a victim of bad press until Mid 2008. After the Housing collapse had happened. Cain is not the guy we need as president. Do your research on Cain, there is plenty out there that shows he is in over his head. Also, do your research on Paul, he saw all these problems coming and warned us, and a lot of people just laughed. Not laughing now.

  • Ever wonder why Ron Paul never appears in these fact check stories? Yes, maybe it is because the media doesn’t want the message of liberty heard, and doesn’t give him enough time to be wrong about something. But I would contend it is because he has studied the issues and has well thought out and honest policies to address them.

  • Herman Cain’s 9/9/9 plan will give the government another means of taxing us. You are crazy if you think the rate will remain at 9%, Cain will not be president forever, but you may not know it if you listen to him answer the question about why it wouldn’t go up. As for the payroll tax, most lower income families do not pay this, and to say they do is dishonest, sure it may come out of their pay check, but it is returned to them via the earned income tax credit. This of course would go away with a flat tax, and the lower income families would be in the same spot, except for now they have to pay an additional 9% on everything they buy, keep in mind with state, county, and city sales tax rates anywhere from 5-12% this would be a significant increase in the tax burden. Cain also falsely believes that companies will give their half of the payroll tax back to the employee, in a time where companies are holding all the money they can. Sure some may give some even all back, but in today‘s economy I wouldn’t count on it. Cain’s website says the 9/9/9 plan is just the first step in getting us to the Fair Tax, another piece of legislation that will be hard to pass. I actually do support the Fair Tax because it call for the repeal of the 16th amendment first, which the 9/9/9 plan doesn’t. But faced with two difficult to pass bills, why not go for the Fair Tax first. Could be that the Fair Tax is not the true goal, another revenue stream may be the actual goal.

  • Congress did not declare war, they unconstitutionally authorized the president to do what he wanted to do with regards to Al Qaeda. Problem is once we accept unconstitutional acts as legitimate, then what grounds do we have to stand on when the government does go after an American group on American soil, the answer is none. And before you say it will never happen, just remember the media for the most part is complicit in these unconstitutional acts, so don’t think you will get much help from them. They will just call it a cult of child molesters that fired first when the government went in to arrest them. Furthermore, the government had an obligation to put Anwar al-Alwalaki on trial, they can and have had trials in abstention and as far as I know these are constitutional if the indicted party refuses to appear. Which my guess is, he would have refused. Don‘t just assume that just because we are against the methods that we don’t want the same outcome. We just want it reached in a way that won’t come back to bite us all later.

  • * Doesn’t fool me. ;~)

  • Hey NSkipper, I said do your research, I didn’t say I would do it for you. But if I must. One, most of the jobs Perry created went to illegals. Hey tried to force a vaccine on girls for a disease that hardly affects anyone, and is usually non-fatal to boot. But his campaign and his staff did benefit from the deal, they got money and jobs out of it. Not that I am a George Bush fan, but Perry‘s feud with Bush is due largely to Bush not appointing one of Perry’s in-laws as a judge. Is that what America stands for? Or maybe America stands for allowing a Spanish state run company to tax Texas citizens to drive on the roads Texas tax payers built is what America stands for. Maybe America stands for you coming to this country illegally and getting half of you out of state/country tuition covered. Well Mr. NSkipper you may be willing to over look all that and even lie to yourself and say it is constitutional, but I am not. He is a crook, and a liar. His Texas swagger may fool the fools, but it does fool me.

  • Is Rick Perry‘s First Campaign Ad ’Over-the-Top?’

    September 21, 2011 at 4:51pm

    In reply to Duke One.

Rick Perry is a fraud. He isn’t a leader, he is a globalist puppet. Rick Perry has a list of very big problems with the way he has run Texas. I suggest you do a lot of research, beyond what the MSM will give you, before you pull the lever for this clown.
