  Speakin of the south side of Chicago..How well are they doing over there and why doesn’t anyone EVER remark on the lousy state of that side of town?..Both he and Jesse Jackson made a career out of patting themselves on the back as they strong arm businesses to shift money to their never ending programs..Nothing has worked..None of their strategies have ever produced anything in that part of town..total failure..I hope the republican candidate (whoever) brings up all of the non-accomplishments of the soon to be former Pres….We need change al right..jmo

  Like to just add..Union employees aren’t any worse as a whole then other employees in my view..and I’ve seen many good and bad on both sides..The problem lies entirely in my opinion, with the representation…Union representation has become political..and not serving the good of the employee or the company..They have ulterior motives beyond those they are there to serve..Too bad..

  One more thought..The same union does groundwork for AA does the ground work for Southwest..There isn’t a whole lot of differences there..But Southwest has been managed far better..imo…Of course the Pilots Union is the same also but with differing benefits…Bankrupcy allows these folks to take all these mistakes and wrap them in a nice ball and start over…Each Airline has used bankrupcy to gain the unfair advantage over the years..I’m sure AA wil come out of this smelling like a rose with new aircraft and happy faces..But the game continues..

  The ailines have always been alowed to do some suspect deals and have no accountability then rush to bankrupcy..Frank Lorenzo manipulated Continental fo ryear and almost drove it into the ground..United makes a deal with it’s employees so that they become major shareholders in the company only to see the shares cancelled in bankrupcy and then the new shares handed out to management … American had it share of oddities also..The purchasing of Reno Air..(A Robert Crandal relative supposedly benefited big time) Air Cal and of course the oddest of all, the purchase of TWA almost days before they could have picked up the liquidated assets for almost nothing..All of these deals which cost the company enormous amounts of capital have vanished from the planet..As have the brainless theory of creating Hubs in small cities to keep costs down..After putting millions and millions into Nashville, Raleigh-Duram and San Jose now they have completely changed direction and abandoned that strategy and are going to the major cities…As a shareholder, I can’t say that labor costs are the only problem with airlines these days but the labor issue is a good smoke screen for the funny business that these folks like to partake in..Whether intentinal stupidity or sly manipulation, even the Fox business and CNBC‘s don’t pick up the the never ending strange deals that go on with all these airlines

  Sorry Hugo..Obama doesn’t have enough experience to be a true clown..He’s working hard at it though..On the other hand, you Hugo, are right there in the center ring…

  Interesting how our Pres. wants to cozy up to these guys and they give him the boot first chance they get..He is right though..Obama has done nothing but campaign since he got elected….he did get an A+ in clown school for that class..In fact wasn’t he the clown professor at Harvard clown school?

  He got caught off guard but I would have liked Newt’s response to be something like, “What is it about me that brings out that kinda response?”..It would have been interesting to get inside that guys head..Why go to the trouble to get up in his face and just say that and walk away..15 seconds of fame?..

  You say the US didn’t go after Germany until they declared war on us?..In terms of a madman declaring war on both the US and Israel, hasn’t AhMADinajihad pretty much done that already?..We all sit here in freedom trying to be PC about others that hate us without realizing there are those out there that through their cultish take on religion feel it necessary to destroy all that is free and not of their belief system..What I would have liked Ron Paul to answer is when would be the right time to take action..I admit I don’t have the answer..It is a difficult thing to watch others get wiped off the map..Africa and everywhere else it’s happened..But this guy is a bit different..His focus is on two locations.,.and we are one of them..Sorta like having a mass muderer next door and trying not to think about it..He wants to succeed where Bin Laden left off..Like I said, I don’t have an answer..But I sure would have liked the questioning to contain a little more urgency..If that’s possible..It just seemed to me that Paul wanted to sorta blow off the question..and get bacjk to his topic..I get that..Just saying

  I wish someone would have followed up with the Adolph Hitler question..Would Ron Paul have sit by and watched Hitler in the same manner as Iran..Same hate filled rhetoric coming from a madman..The isolationist view can only go so far..It appears to me that his views on the way wars are fought and won have been tweeked a bit by his experience in vietnam..That was a difficult time for those who served..But the answer is not isolationism..Jmho

  I agree..I didn’t even know Warner was a Christian..But I sure know Tebow is..and he walks the walk..I wonder why so many feel uncomfortable with a guy who is solid as a rock in his convictions?…Being a Bears fan, I would never care about a Denver or Tim Tebow highlight..But knowing what I know about him, I can’t wait to see what he has done each week..He still has a lot to learn as an NFL QB but he teaches me something about standing up for Jesus everytime I watch him..and that my friends, is the reason he is doing impossible things..God Bless you Tim and keep fighting the good fight..
