  I love Sherriff Joe!! We need more like him. I share his phylosophy that Prison is not supposed to be a “three hots and a cot” resort!! These people are convicted criminals! Why should they be housed and fed and recieve free medical and dental care at taxpayers expense?!?!?! Work should not be an option for these people, prison is a punishment for crimes!! Not a place to sleep and eat and pump iron and relax between crime spree’s.

  Those who serve time in his prison get no ammenities. They have to work. It isn’t nice and cozy. They don’t want to go back. Most learn not to go back, BECAUSE IT ISN’T FUN!! God Bless Joe!!

  As for “profiling”, give me a break..read the bill..It does not say that the police can stop any person who looks to be of hispanic decent, walking down the street and demand to see their papers. If one is in a situation where illegal activity is happening, they check EVERYONE’S papers!! Just like it has always been, regardless of one’s appearance. When a car is stopped for a traffic violation, everyone in the car is asked to produce identification. Just like it has been done for years. It shouldn’t be a problem if one has nothing to hide. I have been stopped for traffic violations and every one was asked to produce ID, and more than one “white” person has been arrested for outstanding warrents.
  Is this profiling?? Stop sniveling and get legal. Grow up.
  If you want to live in America, GET LEGAL!! Pay taxes!! Join the system like the rest of us have been doing for 200 years, regardless of heritage. Learn to speak English!! Violating their civil rights??!! Civil right are for citizens!! I was born in San Francisco, California and I have to show proof of my citizen status to get a job, why shouldn’t you?

  Some peoples children…I was only a 7 year old poor child when Dr. King gave his speach so it didn’t really register at the time.. However, when I was 13, we lived next door to a retired Air Force officer and his elegant wife…who happened to be black. One night Miss Lou played a recording of Dr. Kings speech, I sat spellbound with goosebumps and tears in my eyes…
  For me, I heard a beautiful loving christian speech of integration, not segregation…
  “A day when all gods children will live together….”

  Here’s a thought… How about these “Professor’s” put as much effort into teaching these illegal alliens how to become LEGAL, TAX PAYING residents of The United States of America and stop spending OUR tax money on teaching TREASON and SEDITION ??
