  • @Walkabout-
Actually this did happen at a BMC in Jacksonville, FL, and “Rebecca” was a civil service employee, not active duty. While DADT applied to active duty personnel, the fact that this policy was in effect emboldened “Rebecca” and his supervisors to force this pervesity down our throats over the legitimate objections of the other staff.

  • The duty crew got in trouble for harrassing poor “Rebecca”, with the CDO (Command Duty Officer) and myself defending our actions. We demanded that he be held to the standards that were promised to the clinic staff and that “Rebecca” be appropriately written up. Unfortunately the command staff didn’t write him up and the women took it upon themselves to deal with him.

Word quickly spread around, and all of the female only areas were immediately locked up by the women. If a woman couldn‘t recognise another woman’s voice, then they wouldn’t let them in. The women understood and did what the civil service leadership failed to do-Protect the women.

On a side note, I gave up the COD’s room for this female HN on our duty shift, put on a placard stating that the female duty room was the COD’s room that day, properly locked the door and we had our usual uneventful duty.

In the end, “Rebecca” retired and got the SRS procedure he wanted and yet I’ve wondered how many men would be willing to defend the women in their lives…For my duty crew, it was all six of us and we did it without a moments hesitation.

  • When I was stationed at a Navy Branch Medical Clinic from 1990-1996, we had a preop transgendered man come out and the command had a mandatory staff meeting to introduce us to “Rebecca”, and they attempted to to allievate the concerns from us.

The most common issue of concern was the use of the female duty, locker and restroom facilities by this new “woman” to be. The women were the most concerned about it because of their fear that a biological male might start to use the facilities and then use the execuse that they are actively living as a woman. The command stated that this wouldn’t happen, and if it did, “Rebecca” would be appropriately written up.

On my next duty day, ne of our female HN’s (E-3) while she was changing into her EMS jumpsuit in the female duty room when she heard a masculine voice come from the bathroom, and this HN freaked out with a loud scream that was heard all through the building. As the COD (Chief of the Day), I responded with the rest of the duty crew to find out what was going on.

She was hiding behind a locker door, partially undressed, and she was shaking saying “He’s in there!”. I asked, whom? “You know-him!”. I asked, “Rebecca are you in there?”. “Rebecca” replied yes, and he was informed to stay put. The duty crew turned their backs, allowed our shipmate to get dressed and it was promptly reported.

You can pretty well guess who got in trouble..And for the trolls, it wasn’t “Rebecca”. It was the duty crew for h

  • @Petty-I could consistently link articles to The Commercial Appeal in Memphis for some balance, but the entire Blaze news posts would be stories like this or black-on-black crime.

  • Based on her orignal blog post, I thought she was talking about a local International Church of Christ (ICOC) congregation from Bethesda, MD.

  • Thats a great idea Al, you can go first when you start wearing a large gold plated B on your left cheek!

  • I would have loved to been there eating my BBQ brisket from one of Memphis best BBQ joints-Central BBQ! And for good measure, brought in a jug of sweet tea!

  • At 29 years of age, I had just completed my second four year sea tour, was halfway through my two year shore tour at the USNA, and was getting ancy to get back to another ship and deploy again.

I am now 44 years old; completed one Bachelors degree in 2 year 9 months, now over half way through graduate school, and then have possibly attend nursing school after that. And of course, I also own my house and haven’t lived with my mother since I was 18 and in high school.

In the end it was all Hannity-Game/Set/Match!

  • Based on my crude Public Health Biostats calcuation this morning without knowing the grain capacity it would be:
    8 lb human skull X 7.62/2300 fps=0.0265 seconds

However taking into account a 250 grain 7.62 mm round traveling out 2300 FPS, with an 8 lb skull target and it would be:
8/(7.62 X 250)=.004/2300=0.00017 seconds for cerebral matter to exit the cranial cavity.

In short the answer remains the same, and that this zombie has died.

  • The question needs to be asked: Is it safe to say that the ZOMBIE APOCOLYSPE has come upon us and they come dressed in the form of anachartists and rioters?
