  Attending church has more to do with worship of Christ rather than what it is now which is worship of self.

  Indeed, the best leaders are those that are pressed into service(servant leadership) rather than those who actively pursuing higher command or authority(personal gain). You are correct that Washington felt unprepared for presidency but had he vast experience in proven and tested leadership matched with a moral compass of what was right for the new country. Obama on the other hand lacks the moral compass and any form of true leadership. Washington’s leadership came through adversity, battle and dependence on Providence. Obama’s brand of leadership comes from “community organizing” or “Chicago-type” politics where you have to know someone to get anything. “For such a time as these” are men called upon to serve. Providence will provide these men/women and we must be willing to support them when we see them. Rep. Adam West is such a man though he is not perfect but then again neither are we.

  The larger problem is not that Chris Mathews is getting recognition from GB but rather this book is being promoted at all. Its a best-seller, featured on the cover of Time and all that is left is to be promoted by Oprah. Remember when “is God dead” was on the cover of Time in April, 1966? The discussion on Chris Mathews show just demonstrates how far our nation has fallen and how little the American people know biblically. Twenty years ago everyone would have dismissed the premis that there is no hell because most believed that this place exists from what Jesus had said.

  I once heard that we should speak to others about Jesus with a smile on our face but we should speak to people about hell with tears in our eyes. Hell was not made for us but it is what we face if we don’t know the Truth and believe. I don‘t agree with most of what Chris Mathews promotes but he doesn’t deserve hell more than I do. I just know the Truth and pray he will to before it’s too late.
