Let me guess…Hollywood is going to do a remake of Forrest Gump…and while they inserted Forrest into past famous scenes, they’ll add Obama too.
Liberal or Conservative? Both Sides Trying to Claim ‘Hunger Games’ As Their Own — Why?
March 20, 2012 at 8:37am
I had never heard of this series until the other day. After reading a review on the book, I decided to buy it and see for myself what all the “hoopla” is about. I find the whole tone of the book dark and depressing. I admire the main characters resourcefulness to survive, yet I feel sad for her…that she has had to make hard choices to ensure her family’s survival as well. The good and bad choices we have to make is what makes us who we are.
I definitely see a “big government who controls everyone else” type of theme here, and it makes me worried that if we continue down the road we’re on, then this scenario (though wildly exaggerated) could be possible.
Cee Lo Green Sings ‘F**k You’ During Obama Campaign Fundraiser

I’ve always liked Tyler Perry, but I‘m disappointed to read that he’s a supporter of Obama. I can see Rosie O’Donnell, Joy Baher, Whoopi, etc being his supporters…but Tyler Perry???? How can a Christian support a president who is in favor of abortion?

Every time I see a picture of him, he looks angry. Why would anyone want to follow a religion that promotes hate and killing?

It’s so easy to apologize from behind a keyboard. He should apologize to her in person. But, oh, I forgot….the Left doesn’t do that. However, when someone from the Right says something stupid, Reverend Al steps in and dogs them until they either quit or get fired, while apologizing over and over. It’s never good enough.
I just wish people would grow up.

Well said, Bibi!! He didn’t give code pink the satisfaction of ruffling his feathers. He turned it into a compliment of sorts. I hope they stop to think about what he said and be thankful for the rights they have taken for granted.
I wish we had him as a leader…kind of makes me want to pack up and move to Israel.
Hate Crime: Saudi Student Charged for Spitting on White People in FL
May 18, 2011 at 4:37pm
So, she’s in our country, enjoying the benefits of one of our schools, and shows her gratitude by spitting on white people???
Would she be afforded the same education and “freedom” to voice her opinion in her own country? I seriously doubt it.
If you don’t like our citizens or what we stand for….get the heck out. Stories like this really tick me off.
Spiritual Advisor or Political Attack Dog? Jim Wallis Says Paul Ryan Is a Bully & Hypocrite Who’s Never Been Around Poor People and Has No Courage

Not that I‘m questioning Ryan’s or Wallis’ salvation, but a quote I heard comes to mind….”Those who know Christ are usually persecuted by those who think that they know Christ.”
Just sayin’
Olbermann: S.E. Cupp Should Have Never Been Born, Proves ‘Necessity’ of Planned Parenthood
April 14, 2011 at 5:21pm
That has got to be one of the most vilest things I have ever heard…however being that it’s Keith Olbermann, I am not surprised. I wonder how long it’s going to be before Maher joins in the fray?
He should be ashamed and offer her an apology. Will he? Most likely not.
Will Wal-Mart‘s New Ad Campaign Win Back Customers ’Who No Longer Trust’ the Company?
April 12, 2011 at 6:47am
Ever since my city’s Walmart was turned into a Super Walmart, the selection AND variety of things offered has gone down alot. You would think that by having a bigger store and shelf space, they would offer more items. No.
On a side note…whoever designed the parking lot and the twisty, windy, “roundabout” system of getting to the store must have been drunk.
