Is Jesus Christ a Socialist?
August 17, 2011 at 8:23pm
There is a big difference between people helping their fellow man vs. The gov’t taking from the richer and just giving to the poor. Jesus taught, go and be fruitful, and help the needy. More charity comes from the richer and churches, without the gov’t strings…. Jesus would be proud of what he sees within the Christian churches here in the US.
45K Verizon Workers Strike After Labor Talks Fail
August 7, 2011 at 7:23pm
@bry -I am on the other side in Verizon. You sound like a rational person. Did the union tell you that Oboma care will cost over $200M in health care tax next year ( Verizon must pay). I hope they come to an agreement soon, as I have a few friends now on strike. If you get what we have it is not too bad, and the better workers do get the best rewards.
DISGUSTING: Texas Town Drinking Recycled Wastewater
August 7, 2011 at 1:17am
@word weaver – the writer used you’re correctly (you are). Try commenting on the content of the article, we don’t need a grammar lesson.
Now, recycling of the water seems logical, especially in the southwest where water is scarce. Good jobTexas!
Culture of Corruption: Report Finds Widespread Teacher Cheating, Intimidation in Atlanta Schools
July 6, 2011 at 2:37pm
This problem is not restricted to Atlanta, it’s all over. New cheating was just discovered in Baltimore. And I just read the teachers union spent $300,000 on democratic candidates. They sure are getting their moneys worth…..not!

Still trying to figure out what was reformed with healthcare, especially with the part about reducing cost. Notice how he speaks, but never answers the question.

News is news, not all of it has to pertinent to world peace, lighten up folks. Ed Reed is actually a good person who does a lot of charity work in Baltimore.
Sharpton Presses FCC to Deny Rush Limbaugh Broadcast License
December 7, 2010 at 7:41am
The sorry part no one seems to be catching, the FCC was created to regulate the “frequencies” of the air waves, not the content of the broadcasts. It seems as though people think the FCC has this power. They only do if we “allow” them to over step their charter. The new Congress needs to reset the FCC, back to their original purpose.
