  • I seem to recall BO’s mother was white and his father was black. Which side is racist? Blacks on whites or whites on blacks.

  • From the Daily Caller:
The two Democrats that President Barack Obama appointed to the National Labor Relations Board during what he considered a congressional “recess” are not on the White House’s official list of Obama’s appointments and nominations for various positions.

Obama referred his two Democratic nominees, Sharon Block and Richard Griffin, to the Senate on Dec. 15. The Senate adjourned for the year – but did not go into an official recess — on the following day!!!!!!

    In reply to Tri-ox.

Lowest priced homes in the nation. Massive crime, abandoned homes and busineses. Democrat mayors since 1962…priceless.

  • Average debit swipes in one month: 25. Reduction in fees from Dodd-Frank (the two responsible for the 2008 real estate crash), $.20. 25 X $.25 = $5.00. I hate the thought of the $5 fee but understand why banks want to charge it. Legislation also limited credit card fees
    – the result is substantially higher interest rates than before. Legislation to limit income originating mortgage loans – result: less competition, higher fees and higher rates (banks will make up the difference). When will they learn to let the market determine what works?

  • Just a few “black” dictators: Idi Amin, Charles Taylor, Robert Mugabe. Must we not oppose these brutal dictators because they are black? Secondly, if I remember correctly, Obama is half white so which color are we being racist against?

  • First state pensions are paid by tax payers. State governments do no generate income (other the lotteries) so it is a huge burden to states. Second, the first stimulus promised , 8% unemployment. How’s that working out? This is just a transfer of tax money to pay off Dem poltical fund raisers. The goal should not be to generate jobs but to innovate and create careers. Careers last a lifetime. Thirdly, how many wealthy Americans were “just fortunate” when they started their business. They took chances with time and money to succeed and now you feel the right to tax them even more? Isn’t there an AMT? Why is it only police man, fire fighters and teachers that we need to save?

  • So, since Google founders are all liberals, so we stop using their search platform. Apple and Micrsoft executives are mostly liberal, do we throw away their Iphones and ditch Microsoft software?

  • In hindsight, 2 bills should have been offered. One for show and one that would have protected our credit rating – through the advice of the credit rating agencies. That would have been interesting in the House and I am positive Reid would have blocked it in the Senate although it would have been hard to ignore!

  • Simple math: The debt over the last 2.5 years is $3.7 trillion. We need to reduce that spending above and beyond what we take in to cure the nations debt and defecit problem. Taxes did not bring us here. Over the last 100 years, 5 presidents (2 were Dems), lowered taxes and we had massive revenue gains. Corporate taxes are a pass-through to the consumer. Eliminate corporate taxes and we will have a rush by companies around the world to the safest tax haven in the world. Our only problem then will be too few workers.

  • Mr. Zakaria:
    1. Tea Party stands for adherence to our Constitution.
    2. We are not a democracy, we are a Republic.
    3. You are suggesting the President violate the Constitution.
Now I better understand your views.
