  • @ Yvernon
If I think your beliefs are wrong, then I’m not going to be nice and accommodate them

But you think Christians (and other religions) should have to do EXACTLY what you yourself are not willing to do? (Even if it means being forced by the state, against constitutionally guaranteed freedoms?)

    Nice double standard.

  • This “man” initiated an unprovoked attack, against a group of SCHOOL KIDS, who in no way, shape or form offended him in any way. (what a hero)

He encouraged a “MOB MENTALITY” for the remaining students to gang up against the kids in this group.

    You miss the bigger picture.

By speaking to the entire group this way, he treated the Christians in the room as if they were ALL guilty of any perceived offense he received from any Christian…ever.

He was not only guilt of bullying behavior, but being an anti Christian bigot.

I thought we were supposed to move beyond prejudice and stereotypes?

  • Anyone who could treat a child like that, has no business in a position of authority over children.

  • Speaking as an Evangelical Christian homeschooler…

I hope they catch whoever wrote this, and SOON!

    It is nauseating.

Anyone who could threaten a young girl with rape, (for any reason) should not be on the streets!

  • APPLAUSE!!!
    It is about priorities.
Are your kids more important than that $200+/mo cable package?
    That ENORMOUS flatscreen TV?
Cell phone&landline (pick one or the other!)
That extra new car? (and it’s insurance&upkeep)
A big blow out vacation every year?
    That McMansion?
    Designer labels on your fanny?

REALLY…if you WANTED it enough, you could…
Live in a duplex, without cable, (HOMESCHOOL)
    Go CAMPING on vacations.
Share one used car. (we have for many years…it is second nature now)
Have 4-6 decent pairs of basic jeans and 2-3 dress outfits per person. One pair of sneakers. One pair of neutral color dress shoes.

Your kids just might learn to count their blessings…(and not expect to have their whims pandered to)

“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also…” Luke 12:34

I tell our kids, we may not be wealthy in gold…but we are wealthy in kind, respectful, responsible, smart kids.

    Priorities…

  • “They are more like going to the gym, meeting other “hard working” moms at the coffee shop showing off their Bob strollers stay at home moms. Their idea of a healthy lunch is taking the kids to McDonald’s and having them play in the Mc Happy House.”

You don’t know many homeschooling families, do you?

We have picnics and park days…not coffee at the gym!

(Mc’ds? Not likely! More like a sandwich in the park after co-op!)

In reply to Right wing nut job.

People with serious health issues (asthmatics, cancer patients, certain bone disorders, colitis and crones disease…among others) which require the use of powerful STEROIDS often see major weight increases. Would you prefer we all collect SSI disability, and remain confined to our homes, so that you superior folks need not be offended by the sight of us? Or, can we be allowed to make a living, and support ourselves?

    In reply to football lady.

It would be for me! I was normal weight until I had to start all of the steroids for my brittle asthma! When you are on steroids nonstop, you WILL BE OVERWEIGHT! Sorry…that is discrimination to people with certain HEALTH CONDITIONS! (do they WANT to be sued?) Why could I not be an insurance file clerk? Telemetry monitor? Patient records data entry? 1:1 overnight patient monitor? Unit secretary? Lab tech? There are all sorts of jobs a moderately overweight person can do.

  • I am anything but an Obama fan…BUT, I agree with giving the kids some privacy. They shouldn‘t be made into targets because of their Dad’s politics any more than needed.

Yes. Pull it. Better yet, it never should have run to begin with.

(Would I send MY child into Mexico? That is an entire different discussion)

  • I’ll take a real person over Hollywood flash and glamor any day.

This pic shows me, Rick Santorum is REAL…

(And his reaction cracks me up!)
