  • Netflix’s competitive edge was that they offered a great solution – BOTH dvd and streaming at a great price.

Now instead of having one awesome service that everyone wants, they have two services that nobody wants.

The free market means make mistakes and your free to fail. It also creates more freedom of choice for how consumers spend their entertainment dollars as competitors move in a capture Netflix’s fleeing customer base.

  • Standing with Israel in their fight to live in freedom without fear is will not be an easy task for this generation, but it will make future nations, communities, churches and families stronger.

The foundation will be built on the integrity, honor and courage of those who stand for love instead of hate. It will be based the knowledge and wisdom of those who seek the truth. The truth is the cornerstone of freedom.

  • Standing with courage in California. God bless you! God bless Israel!

  • If rock music, a teenage sporting event or a biblically-based sermon series on “how to be a better marriage” partner or handle your finances better integrating what the bible says about money reaches and teaches people about Jesus then great. If it makes God/Jesus/The Holy Spirit more meaningful real in their lives then that is what Christianity is all about.

Jesus did not sit in an ivory tower to find perfect people to follow him. He met them where they were at. Not everyone who finds personal salvation does it through the same path, or has the same theological interests. Look at the disciples. Quite the motley crew.

There are hundreds of opportunites for church members to particpate in bible studies, personal minstries and prayer groups to get the deeper theological principles and grow in the spirit and mature as Christians.

Warren’s style of ministry may not be for everyone. Many don’t care for it, but that is designed to support the Christian who is engaged in critical thinking about their faith, active in their communities for believers and non-believers and is looking to find their purpose in life through God’s guidance.

BTW – Warren and Saddleback Church have consistently said that there is only one way it to heaven and it is consistent with John 3:16. You can find it on the church’s website in the Statement of Beliefs.

Yes, in case you are wondering I have intended Saddleback in the past – but am not a member.

  • Warren’s Saddleback Church as hundreds of ministries that serve thousands of people. Money is only part of the equation. Time and talent are the others. Services and charities range from biblical counseling to crisis intervention to providing meals. The focus is based the very simple principle that we were created for a purpose and shaped for serving God.

Like Jesus, the best way to reach and teach others is through example. As all individuals are unique, not everyone can be reached in the same way.

Warren clearly teaches that there is only one way to heaven and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, not collective salvation. Sin is very real, evil is everywhere and both will try to keep you apart from God. He also clearly teaches and equips church members, believers and trains pastors — of many denominations — to be active Christians by spreading the word through deeds and actions to others as Paul did to the Romans, and the disciples did after Jesus’ death.

As many have stated here, Rev. Warren is not perfect. He is human just like the rest of us. He would be the first to admit that. His wife Kay would probably be the second.

The bottomline is because of Rev. Warren ministries and writings thousands of people all over the world have been saved and thousand more have been helped. His route or message may not be right for everyone, but he doing his best to honor God and prayerfully fulfilling His purpose.

    That’s what Christianity i

  • 320 is quite small, but it works for them. I know many people who raise entire families in our area in old Craftman homes that are 700 – 900 square feet. Most have a nice porch on the front and a deck on the back that makes the house seem bigger.

My great-grandmother raised a family of 12 in a similarly small house and had beautiful things. Many of which I cherish today. They turned the back porch into the “dining” room on and managed to raise an amazing family (debt-free) on a postman’s salary. Upon her death, she even had a great wealth to distribute to her many, many grandchildren.

It is just a matter of priorities and counting your blessings.

  • Carney missed the boat. Easter is not about the Obamas’ and whether or not they attend church — or if it was publicized or not. In other words, it is not about them.

Easter is a very important holy day for many Americans and should be recognized as such.

In addition many Christian’s are being attacked, arrested and killed in other nations for simply practicing their religion. The White House has a moral and ethical responsibility to stand up and say something. Instead, they have been virtually silent on this.

The lack of acknowlegment of this speaks volumes.

  • Four minutes of asking the same question over and over and over again. That is not questioning, that is badgering. Don’t the “suits” at MSNBC know the difference? No wonder nobody watches. It is mind-numbing.

Kudos to Rep. Jason Chaffetz. He is a class act. He answered it politely every single time, which is the polar opposite of Lawrence O’Donnell.

    In reply to Grylls81.

The President has a lot more speechwriting “help”, a suite of teleprompters and the press corps at his disposal. Why have we not heard anything thing like this from him?

Just like the PB Oil Spill, the Christmas/Underwear Bomber and “Floatilla” incident it will be days before we even get a few statements of weak, meaningless double-speak.

America deserves better. Gov. Palin waited — just like the rest of us –and when she heard little or nothing from our Nation’s current elected officials she stood up and spoke her mind.

If she would have stepped up sooner, the media pundits would have accused her of trying to capitalize on the tragedy.

  • If Joe Scarborough actually spoke the truth on MSNBC, then his mom wouldn’t have to watch Glenn Beck to find out what is really going on. Listening to his little diatribe I heard three outright lies, many partial truths and over half a dozen inflamatory statements with no factual basis.

Perhaps Mr. Scarborough should do a little soul search to see if he is actually the problem that Mr. Beck is talking about.
