  IB has a decidedly global agenda with ties to the UN. It is a curriculum based more on values than facts. It’s a money making propaganda curriculum, imho.

  The author has clearly not done her due diligence nor experienced the “programme”. Yes, it is important to learn about the world and other cultures. The IB is not the way.
  In addition to being globalist in nature (and yes, it does promote globalism over national sovereignty), there is loss of local control (adjudicated overseas), the whole school must revolve around the program, and finally, it is extremely costly. Lots of hype for lots of money. I believe there are several websites out now that further detail the pitfalls of the program.
