  • Wolffe is apparently not well read in all things Christian. In the Christian apologetics class I took in college (1987-1991), part of our required reading was “Mere Christianity” by C.S. Lewis.

Every time someone on the left puts Palin down, they end up highlighting their own lack of knowledge, and cementing my resolve that I agree much more with Palin than I previously thought I did.

  • Love it! Way to go!

Glenn – you’re definitely in our prayers. I pray that God will protect you and stand beside you as you speak the truth. Many blessings and love to you and your family!

  • This shows a complete disregard for the value of a human life. When people fail to see that we are made in the very image of God, then anything goes. Isaiah 44:24: “This is what the Lord says– your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the Lord, who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens.”

  • We will be praying for you, Stupid Windmill.

  • Please read the New Testament where Jesus sent a message to Herod Antipas, the ruler of Galilee and Perea, who was trying to kill him. “At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, “Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.”Jesus replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’ Luke 13:31-32

Jesus did not hold his tongue when the rulers of the day were coming after him. Jesus denounced the tetrarch as a “fox” and declared that he, Jesus, would not fall victim to such a plot because “it cannot be that a prophet should perish away from Jerusalem” Luke 13:33.

Accordingly, we should not shy away from Biblical principles or teachings. We should not separate our lives/beliefs into segments by saying, “These are my principles while I’m at home or at work, but these are my principles while I’m at church.” What is taught at church affects every aspect of our lives, even our politics. For too long, people have not voted according to their convictions, and look where our country is now.

    In reply to Large Eagle.

@Freebornson – I agree with you. There won‘t be a change of mind in this country until there’s a change of heart. This change of heart can only come from God. Praying for our enemies and those who would despitefully use us is not an easy thing to do, but it is what we must do. “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and I WILL HEAL THEIR LAND.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
