  Here’s the bottom line: PARENTS have the best intentions for the child…NOT the physician. Don’t even try to talk about some parents not being good parents. That goes both ways. There are plenty of crummy physicians. Dr. Breuner’s suggestion about PP comes from HER values (or lack of). I would never put hormone pills in my daughter and send her off to sleep around. What kind of care is THAT for a young woman?? I care more about my daughters than to tell them you’re nothing more than an animal in heat. Here are pills to prevent or stop a pregnancy. How about telling the young girl she is created in God’s image, her body is a Temple of the Holy Spirit, and that she is worth far more than giving in to a young man’s (or her) physical desires.

  Please take heart. We who know the truth are “out here,” educating our children. As a Christian, I have thought that we Christians have been persecuted, and still are.

  The Jews, among whom I count my Savior, have suffered — proportionately — more. Millions upon millions murdered — sometimes by pagans, often by Muslims, and often at the hands of sinners who were baptized Christians but bring nothing but shame upon all of us. Of course, there is evil astray throughout history, and throughout the world; but never moreso, it seems, than in the 20th Century, and most especially in the Holocaust of the Jews.

  We will remember. Always.

  Here’s an idea…..why not just have someone start the national anthem off, but get the audience to sing the whole song? It has become a performance instead of an anthem meant to be from all. Take out the “performer/listener” aspect of it by having everyone sing the song.

  True, America is much less friendly to Christianity than in the past. But it seems to this Catholic that America has always been more unfriendly to believing Catholics, and never moreso than in the last few years. Just look at some of the postings on this website, and realize that there is, and always was, a radical anti-Catholic animus among many Americans. These anti-Catholic sentiments qualify as uninformed bigotry, since most of the posts don’t know the first thing about Catholicism, as evidenced by the self-evident ignorance on display. Please, dear readers: if you don‘t know what you’re talking about, don’t comment!! Catholicism is maligned without truly being understood. To believe even a tenth of what some of these posts CLAIM that Catholics believe is to display ignorance. At the least, stop with the comments made out of such total, abysmal ignorance!!

  Yes, it was a staged photo-op. But I can’t help but wish for a return to simpler times, and hope that we may someday have a President and family who really do live simply. Mainly, not so much what they purchase but that they should go out shopping themselves for most of what they need in their day-to-day lives, and do it without a staff of 500 at “home” and a bevy of Secret Service agents in tow. I‘d guess that’s probably how it was for Martha Washington and Abigail Adams.

  Same thing goes for the Congress — whatever happened to a part-time Congress made up of people who HAD to go home just to make a living instead of making the occasional pit-stop with the “constituents”? People wistfully talk about term limits; what we REALLY NEED is a part-time Congress with NO PERKS!! No pension, no health insurance, no luxury gym, and a plain cafeteria shared with the sweaty tourists whom Harry Reid so despises. And they need to wait in line just like everyone else.

  The fact is, if our Federal Government obeyed the 10th Amendment, we wouldn’t need the “imperial” trappings of office for ANYONE in Washington, D.C. The Federal Government would become minuscule, providing mainly for the “common defense.“ And I DO mean ”DEFENSE,“ not these ”pre-emptive wars that have our soldiers dying to give freedom to desert rats who want to kill us!

  Muslims who hate need to be exiled to their beloved Middle East. These students are just the first wave of efforts to turn the USA into a subjugated nation. They should have been sent to Saudi Arabia, or Iran, or Pakistan — with a one-way ticket. They do NOT belong in America.
