  If you accuse Glenn Beck of “polarizing the nation”, then you must also accuse the president of the same offense when he identified Treyvon as being what his son would look like. At least be able to see that Beck is attempting to unify everyone in this country (I was at the 8-28 event, and it was very much an amazing, unifying event,) while Obama makes comments that separate and polarize this country, (i.e., the police acted stupidly; his son would have looked like Treyvon, etc, ad nauseum). Why is Obama even making these comments? It shows that he (Obama) wants to pit “us” against “them”, just as he is using class warfare to separate rich from poor. Beck only wants to alert us to current events. One cannot argue with that…at least not intelligently. I listen to Beck every day on his gbtv.com program, and I also watch the big 3 news broadcasts. No contest for the truth. Obama-0…Beck-100%.

  Would one see this kind of behavior at a Tea Party rally or at the “Restoring Honor” event? No! We were at the “Restoring Honor” event, and I can tell you that the Mall was cleaner AFTER the rally than it was when we arrived. Participants (including us) brought garbage bags and picked up what little debris there was on the ground…most of that has been there for days or weeks.

  Wahoo!!! It’s about time that a strong black man takes charge of his class! “Crazy” Joe Clark ain‘t got nuthin’ on him. God bles you and your students. If more teachers (black, white, pink-and-purple-polka-dot, whatever) could take the initiative to control their classrooms before situations escalated and prove to their students that the teacher was in charge, school would still be a place of education and not confrontation. And, yes, as if it matters, I am a middle-aged white woman.

  Valerie, since you are an obvious communist, why don’t you call Kim Jung-Il and see if he has an opening on his staff. You are not only misguided about the function of government in this country, you are a disgrace to both. Spewing your lies only adds to the dissatisfaction the underprivelidged in America have with their government. Teach people to fish and stop handing out your stinking, taxpayer-funded fish to those who could otherwise be satisfied with, and take pride in, fishing for themselves.   Does he also punish students who say, “Excuse me,” after they burp? He punishes students for, “imposing their views,” by…imposing HIS views. How sensible. How ludicrous! How does he keep his job?!? Wait, don’t tell me. Union, maybe? That would explain how he can get away with his extreme policy. Hopefully, his children have been taught manners by their mother, not by their father, bless his little heart. If I came home from school and told my father that I had lost a quarter of my grade for saying “God bless you,” to a sneezer, He would have taken time from work to go to the school first thing the next morning to discuss a few things with my teacher…few having to do with MY manners!
