  So the founders didn’t want a free press, they wanted authoritarian leaders to rule in darkness. If that’s the case, they would love today’s backroom special interest deals. Somehow I don’t believe this anymore than I believe Rep. John Lewis’ claim that the phrase from the Declaration of Independence, “pursuit of happiness”, means there is a constitutional requirement for Obamacare.
