  This has got to be a planted story. Who would bring a hollowed out book through security with knives in them. People know that the metal detectors would pick them right up in the scanners. I am suspicious that the government is planting this crap to justify making more regulations on the American people.

  Yes. Why wasn’t the perpetrator detained and questioned then?

  Well, he’s got that right. The T.E.A. party is for “puny” government. Interesting to hear this man speak. He doesn’t understand the principles of liberty and why small government is the key. He also doesn’t understand that our public conveyor-style education is failing our children. The T.E.A. party’s enemy is big government and big government spending. It is Constitutionally immoral – so said our Founders. So if Obama, the Unions, the congress and the regulators are for that … then they can self-identify themselves as enemies to liberty.

  Regardless of how many people jump into the race to represent the GOP, the biggest hurdle is how the candidates are selected. I have no trust that the status quo GOP won’t swoop in and put their most RINO progressive candidate in as the presidential challenger – a.k.a. Romney, Huntsman, Pataki, etc. The establishment GOP has demonstrated that they are in for their own power and glory, not for the Country. They are against the T.E.A. party gaining any traction. This has played out time and time again here in NYS. Unfortunately, the mainstream media will help tear apart any of the T.E.A. party candidates as this kabuki show unfolds. We are doomed as a country should the GOP run a RINO candidate as a third party candidate would surely split the conservative vote and put the final nail into the coffin on liberty. I have no confidence in the GOP. They are as corrupt as any other. They secretly revile the T.E.A. Party and will stoop to any level to retain their power. We need an intervention by God more than ever.

  Sorry I missed this. I love Laura and caught this on the back end. Quite frankly I agree with many of the posts here. I have turned off Fox News since Glenn left. I can’t stand Beckel and it just seems like all of the other commentators on Fox adore him. O’Reilly is arrogant and thinks he is above everything. Yes, I agree he is not looking out for you, but for himself. And Bernie Goldberg is supposed to be some all knowing pundit? He thinks he’s the amazing Kreskin … all he needs is a turban with a big fat medallion in the center of it. The tone @ Fox has definitely changed since Beck’s departure. And the morning show, Fox & Friends is ridiculous … amazing how they can present horrible news in with such a perky, cutesy, comical delivery. Literally they are all becoming caricatures of mediocrity like all of the other media networks are. They are being swallowed up by the Hegelian Dialect. Sad to say.

  Yawn. Doesn‘t sound like I want to stop everything that I’m doing at 5pm anymore… Let’s assemble every secondary commentator into one show to let them duke it out for just another talking head Fox show … besides, who will be the guests on all the other shows? I can’t take the left wing Geraldo, I turn him off every time he’s on. I like the Judge, but he yells too much and already has his show on Fox Biz and that format is okay for him, except change that opening! Yikes can you yell it enough? Juan Williams is a wishy washy liberal with no substance can’t take him, Monica Crowley and Kimberly Guilfoyle are certainly perky, but they are every other show on fox … can’t you find them their own show or something… geeze… like retreds … Dana Perino is the same issue, she is on every other show as a commentator … I like her, but what’s the draw here? Don’t know Andrea Tantaros. You’ve tried to give Eric a shot as a substitute on Glenn, but he just doesn’t connect… I CAN’T STAND that fat bloated loud mouthed Beckel… NO! So that leaves the talented and funny Greg Gutfeld who I am a fan of from Red Eye. At least he’s funny and has an edge. Geeze it will be just like watching more of Hannity, O’Reilly and Greta. Which I have been turning off more and more of late.

  Ho hum. Life will go on. At least with the government shut down, they can do no additional harm or spend additional taxpayer’s money! Best be that the regular folk figer things out on their own without Nanny state’s help … I’m sure people will manage just fine. In fact, I’m sure that people will rise to the occasion. I am so sick of all the ginned up rhetoric by the media that tells us the sky is falling 24/7 – next is the credit ceiling … The sky is falling! Let consequences take their NATURAL course. That’s been the problem with government thinking that they can social engineer us all. The elites are not omnipotent. And they have done more harm in the long run than good. As soon as we can all face reality, maybe things will turn around for the better.

  I would rather have Bachmann as my President who loves this country, grew up in this country, understands the constitution, believes that our rights come from God, is a Christian who believes in free market capitalism, than a President who was raised by Marxists, grew up in his formative years in Indonesia, who thinks America is imperialistic, who loves Mao and believes in the communistic platform of wealth redistribution any day of the week. She’s tough, and will hit these media nitwits head on. Their tactics to “palinize” her are entertaining and are only proving what imbeciles they truly are, and further reinforces why I don’t watch their channels. I say keep it up, because eventually they will get it out of there system so that we get to the real issues!

  Brilliant! Amazing how innocent people portray themselves after they get caught in the act. As Glenn says, the best disinfectant is light. What a way to get your 10 seconds of fame. Her little bio on her blog seems pretty shallow and superfluous. I thought it revealing the comment her friend made about them being “East Coast Elites”… amazing. Who would want to live in their oppressive small minded world? I say give the Manhattan, they can all live there in with all their glorious dictatorial disfunctional debauchery. Upstate will gladly succeed and become our own state – GLADLY.
