  A bullet travels max 3 to 5 times the speed of sound. Rockets are the same except for the “semi-successful” missle tests to shoot down ICBM’s the last couple of years. Rail guns can accelerate a projectile to 13+ times the speed of sound at current technology. Think about our Atom smashers that accelerate electrons to near the speed of light with the same technology. Understand that missiles cost $100K to 200K+ for each one fired. A dumb hunk of metal might cost $1K. The electricity needed to fire these guns is already being produced by large nuclear reactors on the Navy ships. Long term, this is better and cheaper technology.

  There will always be some country or terrorist group that wants to destroy the “so-called” freedom we currently have here in the United States. Until we “wipe” them off the face of the earth which will never happen, we will always have to stay 5 steps ahead of them in technology. Don‘t be afraid of technology and don’t think we don’t have it. What do you think they are doing in Area 51, Area 52? This technology has been around for 30+ years. Same for the “lasers” they have been testing that can burn through 200 feet of steel in 1 minute. Our secret military has technology that is decades or centuries more advanced than what we publically see.   As a self-imployed business owner, I will – to the DEATH – refuse to let this communist government tell me what I “have” to buy or provide. This bill is aboslutely unconstitutional and I will not follow any part of it. I am waiting for the day they send me a “fine” for not having health insurance. I will film me burning it and post it to the internet. I hope you all do the same.

  I don‘t understand why the millions of small business owners don’t stand up as one and take this bill down. When a government can turn down 28 states that have filed that this bill is unconstitutional, we have a serious problem in this country. And now the 1st amendment has been slapped in the face with the whole religious movement going against this bill. How much more of a DICTATOR can this man become?

  I am personally ashamed to live in this country today. I used to be a proud American and even served my country. Now, I am not sure what is left to protect. All of our freedom and rights have been stripped away and our constitution has been burned by Executive Orders. We need a revolution, again, because there is no where else to go.

  This man is a true idiot. When did equality become the meaning of give everyone a job. So me, as a business owner, is supposed to give someone a job so I can get a “tax break”? Ok Obama…How about you give me the tax break first for every business in America and then I might give someone a job.

  Here is how it works. That $4000 check I have to write at the end of the year, give it back to me. So I can go spend it at local businesses, so they can hire some more people to provide me with their products and services. Instead, I am going to be hiring someone from over-seas and pay them $500 per month for full time work and use the $500 as a tax write off. No employment or social security or workmans comp taxes… Just a nice tax write off to me. Thanks Mr. Obama.

  I agree. I want anyone that is involved in this “organization” arrested as a terrorist. Since he says that our enemy is not their enemy that must mean they align with the terrorists. They need a nice stay at Club Gitmo.
