  After reading five pages of comments I can honestly say that I’ve never read so much hate-filled rhetoric except for the words of Osama Bin Laden. One can differ strongly in opinion from the president without using such terrible, insulting language. Hatred only divides further…it solves nothing and helps no-one.

  Wow….the lot of you make me wonder if the human race even stands a chance anymore….animals are kinder to each other. Sigh…..

  Until mankind realizes that all of creation is one under God….connected and dependent on one another…all will suffer. All living things contain the spark of the divine. All have souls. Mankind is made in God’s image and given the gift of free will….animals and other living things are not, therefore they are depending on us to do what is in the best interest of all. How very sad that so many do not or will not see the connection….that they are so in-tuned to self alone. Thank God for the Paul Watson‘s and Steve Irwin’s of the world who truly see and do their best to help others see more clearly.

  I agree with carpenterjim….our infrastructure is terrible….decaying roads and bridges need to be fixed asap….the folks in Minneapolis who saw the bridge collapse that killed so many would undoubtedly agree. Don‘t know about anyone else but I’m not willing to sacrifice a loved one to a highway, bridge or tunnel anytime soon. Our crumbling roads are unacceptable, and yes….the war in Iraq was like a giant vacuum….sucking trillions of dollars and thousands of lives into a black hole. Where is the outrage there?

  Ah, you couldn’t be more wrong. I take Jesus’ message seriously…love one another. I’ve never despised a soul….even those who disagree with me here. And I’m not at all angry….it’s bad for the heart…and the soul. God bless.

  Oh dear….God does not destroy the children he loves….and no antichrist is needed as we’re doing our best to destroy ourselves. It’s up to us spread love as the message….not hate.

  Tones414….I’m not concerned with what you have….I’m concerned for the folks who have little or nothing, and I can certainly comment on what I have….more than enough, and I’m willing to give…which I do…as much as possible.

  As for leaving a good life for my children….if you refer to money alone, my mom is leaving me nothing….because she has nothing…and I’m just fine with that. Earning your own living is what builds strength of character. If by a good life you mean a living wage, an affordable home, a stable economy and respect for all then President Obama is trying his darndest to see that happen.

  We need to remove the blinders and see with clear eyes the needs of our fellow men.
