  I was thinking the same thing as PoorRichard09, it does smell fishy. Not that there aren‘t plenty of sickos who aren’t muslims, but it is a convenient way to make themselves look sympathetic. I would be interested to know who is really behind this. I noticed that no names were mentioned. It seems to me like they are trying very hard to convince our soft as jello government that censorship is needed. I say if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

  Rachel, Rachel. This is a blog about a white boy getting kicked out of a school for an innocent remark that was misconstrued, and the flames being fanned by either adults looking to call attention to their moral “virtue”, or ignorant sheople who don’t really get that 1; they can‘t really read someone else’s thoughts or intentions, and 2; yes it really is just as wrong for progressives to censor conservatives, and everyone else as it would be if it were the other way around. How in the world you are trying to connect any of this to Newt Gingrich is well, to be honest, I can’t figure out what any of it has to do with him at all.

  Amen, NPMathis. I would also like to add that this is the result of having people in power who have themselves never really grown up. One little thing happens that they can’t control (like other people’s thoughts and comments) and they react like headless chickens running around in circles: reactionary, paranoid and totally predictable. Just once, it would be refreshing to hear of a school reminding a student(like Shelbi) that other students have a right to free speech and that no one said anything that was even remotely derogatory towards her father. This little girl sounds like a budding trouble maker. Spoiled, full of herself, and obviously already armed with the knowledge of how to play the race card.

  As someone who has read the entire Bible several times, cover to cover, I don’t share your view of it. The more I read and study it, the more I know it’s the rock-solid truth. I find it hard to fathom why, if you don’t believe the Bible, would you waste time reading it? You may think it proves that it’s fiction, but that’s because you are looking at it with atheistic eyes. That is your right, but please don’t delude yourself into thinking your opinion will stop anyone who believes from doing so. Merry Christmas.

  Lesbian, I don’t know what Church you go to, but in most Churches, that’s the whole point, to get the unbelievers to come in, hopefully with an open mind to the Gospel. Then if you don’t accept the truth, it’s your choice, but I‘m really having a hard time understanding why anyone who really doesn’t believe in God would want to take their kids to any type of religious service, unless they are looking for some type of nostalgic connection to their own childhood, or they are hoping to passively teach their kids morals that they know that they themselves have failed to instill in their young. Just a thought.

  Actually, my first thought is the protester got exactly what he deserved. I know there will be some people who will call me evil for thinking this, but remember the same thing could have easily happened to one of the people waiting to get their books signed, or are all of them part of the evil “1%” because they were able to buy a book? At any rate, this group is by far the most intolerant and hateful protest group I’ve ever seen, bar none. It is high time for them to go home and shut up.
