  I live in the same town as Ms. McCormack. Would it surprise anybody if I told you that Pocatello is the single bastion of liberal lunacy in an otherwise very conservative state. There is a university here that is filled with Christian hating academics (they especially hate Mormons). And, surprisingly enough, Pocatello is Idaho’s very own “union town.” Our roads are in disrepair. Our water and sewer systems are a complete disaster. Our city police department has a bit of a problem with “over zealousness.” It‘s like Idaho’s own little Chicago. Oh by the way, Pocatello’s property taxes are higher than anywhere else in the state. Imagine that. Apparently, our city’s morals have degraded along with our infrastructure. Pocatello is often called the armpit of Idaho. I didn’t know that an armpit could have such twisted morals.

  Everyone –> Please step back and look at the situation. Clearly this is an attempt to rile up constitutionally thinking Americans. Make no mistake. This is a trap!!! This is an attempt to stir up contention and hate among tea partiers — nothing more. We have to be the peaceful ones. Conservatives must be the leaders that adhere to the precepts of faith. Anger is what they want from us. Until we are genuinely physically threatened, WE MUST RESPOND TO THEIR ATTACKS PEACEFULLY. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t prepare. Quite to the contrary, we should be the ones able to offer leadership when the time comes. That necessitates preparation. God Bless!!

  I hope you are kidding!! Skin color has nothing to do with the issue. The problem is lack of morals. These folks have no respect for the safety and property of others. The problem has nothing to do with color and everything to do with character. These guys are nothing but thugs.

  I just got done with a Glock Armorers course. Here’s a little info that I picked up. The “old” Glock 23 (Gen 3) had a bit of a problem handling the more powerful .40 S&W. The 23 frame was originally intended for the 9mm (Glock 19) Glock uses the same recoil spring for the 9mm (G19) and the .40 S&W (G23) The typical occasional shooter would never see a problem. However, somwhere around 10,000 rounds fired the locking block would tend to get loose. As it got worse, the slide wouldn’t lock up right. Eventually the slide would fall off the pistol. The primary driver behind the development of the Gen 4 Glock is the increased recoil of the .40 S&W. According to Glock the new (and very different looking) recoil spring will stop this problem.

  I specifically recall Glenn empathically demanding on his radio show “I want a gay man now!!!” Ok, maybe Glenn was suggesting his taste in clothing could use a bit of help from a more style concious person. But we’re supposed to take things out of context, aren’t we? Media Matter says it’s ok. BTW my sixteen year old daughter thinks Glenn definitely needs some help with his fashion choices. I think NERD was the word she used. The point being that Glenn doesn’t dress good enough to be gay. Was that a stereotype?
