  Noone gets to wear their symbol in the military, any military. If they would allow her to wear her head scarf, they would need to allow Christians to wear crosses where they could be seen. The object in the military is to have everyone look alike so they will know that they are part of the team. The team needs to be more important than her headscarf. Not more important than her religion, but more important than her religion’s symbols. Mormans can wear their undergarments because they are covered. Yarmulke can be worn because they can be covered by headgear. If she can stuff her scarf under her hat she can wear it otherwise take it off or don’t be in ROTC.

  The mortgage crisis will go away when the government gets out of the way. One thing people don‘t realize is that house values can’t continue to rise indefinately. There have to be adjustments occasionally.
