  I feel the same way, and I would hope most of the people here would also. No one deserves to be mistreated, even if you don’t like or agree with them. I would be ashamed if any of my friends behaved in the way Lindsay did. I‘d also be ashamed if any of my friends didn’t stand up for someone who was the brunt of such behavior, regardless of that person’s political ideology.

  I can see your point. She is not asking for the forgiveness, but I also see the other side, holding on to anger only hurts the angry person when the other person doesn’t care. I think anyone reading some of the ugly posts on this site will get fodder for their own hatred and use some of the comments to justify it. I don’t expect liberals to behave or have any morals. But I expect myself to, and I should hope that people coming here will see the kind of example that conservatives want to be seen.

  Do I think Lindsay is guilty, oh heck yeah! Do I think she cares if I pray for her? No way. Do I think my own soul needs to be willing to forgive and be the better person? Yes. I also think I need to stand up for truth and right, but do it without lowering myself to the level of the left.

  Excellent advice. I have been claiming that scripture for about a year now, every day. We need to humble ourselves and turn to God, and he will heal our land.
