  • I skimmed through it, and nothing jumped out as being all that unreasonable. The problem is in the interpretation and application of that philosophy.

On the one hand, if, when the uniformed officers in Fullerton, CA were beating a bum to death just for giggles, a bystander happened to have a gun and shot the cops in the back of the head, I‘d feel remorse only for the shooter as they would likely see little justice if the other cops who long condoned the so called bad apples’ actions were to catch the shooter. Even after the public outcry, the local justice system is doing its best to make sure that nothing of any real consequence happens to these officers or the others that condoned them. These murderers with badges have the full support of the government at every level.

But, that is not how stuff like this gets interpreted and applied. This stuff gets read by nut jobs who think that being expected to have a driver’s license to drive on a public road is an egregious encroachment on their unenumerated rights, and they are willing to shoot the first cop that tries to pull them over.

In the end, I don’t think violence is often the solution. There are essentially two ends and only one of them is a solution to me. The first is to attack law enforcement both preemptively and in retaliation to stop the enforcement of oath breakers. The second is to force LEA at all levels to scale back to the point where they only have the resources to take reports and rally posses.

  • The public does not accept this crap for their safety. They know they can choose to either comply, or be beaten or killed until they do. The only alternative is to preemptively kill them first, and most decent people find that alternative less palatable then compliance.

  • Note to self. Next time I fly, be sure to leave a sex toy with the note: “this is so that you can go Fu<k yourself properly".

  • So the other study that showed that cities with red light cameras also are reducing the length of yellow lights is also the “motorists creating the market”?!?!? What a load of horse crap.

    In reply to Obfuscate.

Might want to check that math. 1 billion divided by 5 million is 200. That is $200 per barrel not $0.54. And yes that is about a 1/4 of the nations oil consumption. Maybe, just maybe, if Obama kept even one of good for nothing promises and brought the troops home, gas prices wouldn’t be in such a crunch.

Also, I have to say good on the military for rejecting the green religion, and just taking a pragmatic look at being sustainable.

  • I wonder if anybody in MI bothered to tell the Gov that this is the exact same mentality behind gun control. Blame the tool not the criminal and screw the collateral damage.

  • This is all to expose GSM as the outdated pathetic exuse for a technology it is. CDMA networks aren’t perfect, but take note that these things never even try to hack them.

  • Sure he can read a script, but can he rub two brain cells together?

  • Retards… not just the idiots shooting or the mom calling a hit over a verbal dispute, but half the people responding here as well. First try some reading comprehension. It was a defense attorney that said no assault took place not a district attorney. The defense attorney is supposed to come up with every conceivable out for the defendants even if they personally would like to kill the SOB’s themselves. Second racism is racism, and when you stoop to the level of broad brushing a race, you are an indefensible moron.
