  • Buddhist Mystic Gives Reporters a Tour of Hell

    September 6, 2011 at 1:36am

    In reply to Slayer.

This person is not a Buddhist mystic, and this sort of nonsense has nothing to do with Buddhism. . He is a huckster. I wonder what purpose the Blaze had in even covering it.

“The mighty ocean has but one taste, the taste of salt. Even so, the true way has but one savor, the savor of freedom.”

  • What greater tyranny than that my own servitude forges the chains that bind me to it? Indomitus Ingenuus

  • @Mossbrain@Redenblack: Both of you like to use the term “you guys”, as if everyone who posts on this site has the same perspective on every issue. I assure you, I could give a damn if “you guys” enjoy shutting down 40% of your cortical activity, damage your lungs, your heart, and your chromosomes. Have at it! Fire it up! Smoke your brains out! Everyone is entitled to be a moron if they so choose. By the same token, any collectivist who thinks they can gang up on me by sending armed men to rob me simply because I actually choose to SWIM across the lake, not float with a life preserver like a child in the kiddy pool, has got another think coming. Outrageous.

  • It’s for Welfare recipients, folks! These are people who are eating food and are provided with health benefits paid for with taxpayer money. Only a relatively rare percentage of people are obese by genetic predisposition. The rest of them are eating their way into obesity by choice. They choose to eat themselves fat, and expect us to pay for the excessive food that makes them that way, and to pay for the additional medical attention it will engender, then they can darned well accept a monetary penalty.
I have a better solution than a tax, however. How about we get rid of welfare entirely and allow ourselves, as a free and independent people, to care for oursleves and our neighbors as we see fit, without the interference and coercion from the State?

  • Liberty, self-governance, a free socierty: How is it these concepts so easily ignored whenever some new do-gooder comes along with a plan to compel their fellows to behave as they would have them behave? This is the very essence of fascism, to impose a top-down order of the masses, in accordance to the will of the a self-appointed elite. I’m already in better shape than you ever were or ever hope to be Jesse — by MY choice. Back off!

  • Insulted by the US? Are you as crazy as Chavez? That megalomaniac created his own time zone just to mess with the international community, and then he threatened the flight crew with the power of his totalitarian regime when it was reported that someone made fun of it. And the Americans were forced to apologize and flee? Who is being insulted here? It’s about damned time we grew a spine in this country and stopped worrying about whether or not some creep who has no compunction against destroying us utterly has his feelings hurt.

  • “Power is an instrument of fatal consequence. It is confined no more readily than quicksilver, and escapes good intentions as easily as air flows through mesh. Therefore, those who are entrusted with it must educate themselves in self-restraint. A republic is about limitation, and for good reason, because we are mortal and our actions are imperfect.”
    Mike Pence

    Yeah. Crazy talk.

  • So, because they believe the primary function of the State is to repress, they want to impose a Statist society. Idiots.

  • The “Capitlaist calss” IS the “working class”. What a moron. These twits are the worst we have to worry about? And here I was thinking we might have a worthy foe. Instead, all we have are the useful idiots, full of hot air and nonsense.

  • When are the slack-jawed e-pundits going to tire of being raped every day and do something about it?
