  That is what is wrong with this country now days. The youngsters look up to trash. It scares me to death to think that the MTV generation is going to be be running this country someday. That is if the Chinese don’t take us over first.

  I just don’t get it. There are so many who post on this site and spew nothing but negativity and hate. Just like the story with the missing little girl, so many people are so quick to convict her because they “feel” she is guilty or tha she “looks” guilty. When The Blaze first started up the forums seemed to be considerably more lucid with the posts but now days it seems that hate and anger has grow to a fever pitch. I know one thing, if I were arrested and went to trial I would not want the jury pool to come from the members at The Blaze. It is getting to the point that the populous here is as bad and quickly becoming worse than the idiots who post at the Huff Po. With the way people behave here, it simply is giving the conservative base a bad name for being ignorant haters who don’t know the facts. In this particular story it appears that many who post have the comprehension level of a 2nd grader. Perhaps you should read or have your mom and dad read it to you and explain the story before you post such negative things.. Logic and reason will take you much further than emotion and opinion based off bias and feelings. I am far from perfect but I do try to treat others the way I want to be treated and at 44 I can say that the name calling stopped a few decades ago. I know its only worth a few pennies but that is my 2 cents. A statement that is based on what I took the time to read. It may be an opinion but its somewhat of an educated opinion none the less.

  Well put DIego. In fact marijuana laws have destroyed more lives and families than the drug itself. I am not going to say that it isn‘t bad for you in some shape or form but in moderation it certainly isn’t the evil that many have claimed it to be. I have recently found myself in trouble for a personal medicinal grow and in fact am facing quite a long time behind bars. I am a 44 year old systems engineer who has been gainfully employed since the age of 16. Since my arrest I have indeed lost my job “before I have even been convicted or had a chance to provide a medicinal defense” not to mention the whole ordeal is going to cost me not only 10-20k in legal fees and fines but I very well may lose my freedom for a few years. If that happens I will lose everything that took me over 20 years to acquire While I did in fact break the law and I am not claiming to be a victim, it’s a shame that someone who robs a bank, embezzles thousands of dollars, or even kills their first victim while driving drunk face less time that I am in my current situation. Whoever thinks that we have liberty and freedom in this country is brainwashed. .

  I am not a big fan of John Stewart but he does have a good side, before Walter Reed closed he treated 100s of wounded soldiers to a fine evening of entertainment and dinner on more than one occasion. He has also used his personal funds to help quite a few wounded warriors to upgrade their wheelchairs to lighter easier to manage models. His politics may stink but he does have a compassionae soul. I know this is a fact because he assisted one of my best friends in obtaining an upgraded wheel chair that would better suit his needs on a day to day basis.

  I agree, I am facing 31 years in prison for 12 plants grown for medicinal use. I am in severe pain have not sold a flake, had a job as a systems engineer for 11 years and I am going to lose everything. Marijuana laws destroy more lives than marijuana.

  I would tend to agree, either what you said or quite a few other possibilities. It’s 3000 gallons of gasoline, at a discounted $3.00 a gallon that is a quick $9000. Of course the value of the gas would be even higher if it was taken by another retailer or someone who has a fleet of vehicles
